Lisa was a super responsive and welcoming host to our family of four looking for a quick getaway. The property exceeded our expectations and the home was incredibly cozy--not too big and not too small. We were able to thoroughly enjoy the hot tub, board games, BBQ grill, bikes, beautiful kitchen, and the neighboring town of Jim Thorpe! The community was quiet for a peaceful stay and the nearby scenery of lakes provided some great photo opportunities for us. Although the WiFi could be improved in the home, we highly recommend this property!

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house is adorable. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations of local things to do. My fiancé and I stayed for two nights. We went to two of the restaurants that were recommended and we also went on a hike, we hiked 5 miles and it was a great day. The hot tub was super relaxing and we even made a fire at the fire pit. We can’t wait to go back.

Nicholas is an outstanding host. We did have to reach out to him pretty late at night and he was still super responsive and found a remedy for our situation. Very nice guy. We didn’t have time to use all the amenities of the community, but the lake looked pretty cool. We came for an event at Pocono Raceway, which was a pretty short drive from this house. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard! Such a bonus that the back doors go right out to the fenced yard for them (and convenient for lazy people like me who don’t want to attach a leash every time). Thanks for hosting!

The house is beautiful and cozy, with lots of natural light and high ceilings.!…The kitchen is equipped with all the basics (cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, pans). They even provide coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, salt, seasonings, and paper towels. A welcome basket with everything you need to make marshmallows for the kids was included. The bathroom is very clean and modern (they even provide toothbrushes). I mention this because, For me, details count a lot when choosing a place to vacation and relax, and the most important thing I felt at home away from home!…

This cabin provides a peaceful break from day to day busy life. Upon arrival we were greeted by 3 dee in the front yard. They visited frequently throughout our stay. The home was clean and well stocked. There were items thag most of us use day to day but wouldn't typically pack (spices, oils, etc). The fenced in yard was beautiful and allowed our dogs are safe space to explore. The cabin is a quiet neighborhood.

This house was just what we needed for a quiet weekend! It’s a perfect place to go to if you’re looking to escape, and surround yourself in nature.

We had 6 people in our group, which included a 5 year old. Everyone had enough room to spread out and the kid loved the game room, upstairs playroom and player outside. We are going to miss coffee and wine out in the screened in porch morning/night. Great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Beautiful house and location. We had a multi-generational family vacation. Everyone had an amazing time. The views from the house are spectacular.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Jonathans, some improvement could be made towards sealing the door and windows from the outside but besides that it is an awesome ultra clean, private, and peaceful experience at this cabin. As a huge cooking fan, I most appreciated the capable kitchenette, never thought to eat out much because of it! Would highly recommend this cabin for a cozy and unique weekend getaway.

This home was amazing, and the views we breath taking! Highly recommend Chris's rental if you are looking for a serene getaway. Also, if looking for a good resteraunt in the area check out Bandits Roadhouse! I will.not disappoint.

This was a very nice little place in the woods. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only issue was it was slightly difficult to find but that was probably more my fault than Jeffs. Overall a great place.

This AirBnb was so awesome! Both my boyfriend and I felt so comfortable in this home and would definitely come back in the future!

Emily’s place is beautiful! Quite, close to the lake and very close to stores and things to do. I love the towel fold on each bed and the drawing pads in the kitchen and bedrooms a cute little trinket we didn’t even know was so much fun lol. The heated floor in the kitchen is AMAZING and I love that they think about the little things like seasonings in the cabinets! The extra kids toys were great for the littles and I love that you thought to put them in a place a 2 year old would definitely open looking to get into trouble lol I appreciate your proactivity! This was the best place to unplug and relax with family or friends! Thank you for your hospitality Emily!

Nice large house in the woods.

We were lucky enough to book this beautiful lakefront cabin for our wedding weekend at The Lakeside Ballroom, and it was everything we hoped for and more! My bridesmaids and I got ready here — hair, makeup, the whole thing — and then spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The space is absolutely breathtaking and incredibly cozy — truly the perfect lake home getaway. It exceeded all of our expectations, and we still can’t believe a gem like this exists right in our own backyard. We’re already looking forward to booking another weekend soon. We loved every minute of it!

It was a really wonderful time staying in the Pond Cabin. The trip was a surprise for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. The scenery was amazing as well as the proximity to hiking and trails. It's not too far from the city and could easily be a repeatable trip. I also really enjoyed the lack of reception because it forced me to hang up my phone and enjoy the scenery. I know for someone like myself it's hard to force myself to disconnect so it did the job for me and I appreciated that. The only downsides is the road in the middle of the property that can make parking rather tough with the small spots and fast cars speeding by. Additionally, I thought the listing could've been more clear about which cabins had which amenities because my listing for the pond cabin showed a shower but it didn't have one. Overall, it was a fantastic trip that I would love to do again to get some space.

This property is beautiful and my family of 6 LOVED every second of our long weekend in Nesquehoning at Lisa’s comfortable home. We were welcomed by a special game that was age appropriate for our kids as a welcome gift!! I’ve rented many airBnb’s and this was a first to arrive to a gift for our kids. So thoughtful. The beds are so comfortable and the subtitle decorations my kids loved. The double decks had tons of seating and a bonus gas fire that we enjoyed when it rained under a covered deck around a comfy couch. The fire pit with string lights was everyone’s favorite way to wind down after a day of exploring the mountains near the house. We took the dome car train ride from Jim Thorpe and had a lot of fun exploring the area. Lisa is fantastic and quickly communicated. The house is fully stocked and ready for cooking, baking, grilling by, and relaxing. We will definitely return. Bring your binoculars as the bird watching is great too. Loved this home!

Absolutely beautiful property and home. Extremely clean. Gracious and welcoming hosts. Our family had a great time. Had everything we needed and more. Including homemade chocolate chip cookies on the table when we arrived. Would go back again for sure.

Great private home. If we were staying longer in the area we would definitely book again. Really beautiful landscaping in a beautiful natural setting. So much in the extended area you can take in for an escape from the hustle. Great, communicative hosts!

I had an amazing time staying at Jason's glamping cabin! The property and view was absolutely gorgeous, and the cabin was very peaceful. I enjoyed working on my painting while listening to the babbling brook and horses next to the cabin. The cabin and outhouse were clean and well organized. Lastly, Jason was an awesome host! He proactively reached out with helpful instructions/directions as well as recommendations for hiking trails and restaurants. I highly recommend this option for anyone who would like a peaceful glamping experience on a beautiful horse farm!

We stayed for two nights with our young kids and had a wonderful time! Jason was so accommodating and made sure the kids got to feed the goats, see the horses, and sit in the tractor! There are berry bushes and hiking trails on the beautiful property. The cabin is gorgeous and so unique inside. Beds and bathrooms are lovely and so comfortable. We had a truly wonderful stay and hope to visit again!

We were in the area for a two day fishing trip on the Lehigh river. Location was perfect. The space was great! Communication and check in was seamless. The cabin was equipped with all the amenities you could think of. Very comfortable and peaceful. would not hesitate to book again. Thanks again !
