High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

Serenity now! Quiet and beautiful!

HOORAY! OUR ROAD HAS BEEN REPAIRED! It's still gravel though so 4wd or a truck recommended. Are you too hot? we are a good 5 deg cooler here. We offer privacy and comfort along with beautiful views in your private suite in the mountains, with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Our location is within easy driving distance to Sylva, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, Cherokee and more. We're not fancy but clean and welcoming, with lots of amenities. EVERYONE WELCOME! This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint town of Waynesville and 3 miles from Springdale at Cold Mountain Golf course. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.

These photos are ACTUAL photos from the property unlike others on this site! Lake Junaluska classic, 2 Bedroom (one Master with king , one 'kids' with two twins), windows look RIGHT out on the lake and mountains. Stairway leads down to road and walking path (2.3 miles around lake). Sorry, No Pets at all. This is a "mother-in-law" apartment with private entrance and parking. It is the full lower level and deck of a 3-story house. All private.
