Holiday rentals with a kayak in Haywood County

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it is a treat. The home is charming and the location just beautiful. Carolyn has furnished the cabin with everything we could possibly need during our stay, and is very quick to respond to any questions. We plan to come back!

The house was nice and roomy. driveway was a little tricky. view of mountains and golf course was amazing. we had a storm on Saturday night and GODS light show was beyond incredible across the mountains viewing from the deck. Mark was a great host I would recommend the place 10 out of 10.

Great location , host was very responsive and made everything very easy for us , driveway is steep but don’t let that stop you , there are places to park at the bottom and driving the driveway isn’t bad either ! Great vacation !

We had a wonderful family Christmas at Stephanie’s place with our three tween girls! The home was clean, super cozy and warm with so many holiday decorations and extras. We enjoyed the hot tub, badminton and all the comforts inside as well! The girls appreciated all the books and games and each found a cozy nook for reading and resting. We also really enjoyed the gas fireplace which provided extra warmth when it got super cold a few nights. So many clean towels, blankets and extra pillows. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Stephanie was extremely responsive and helpful. We really loved exploring Asheville and supporting the community with our business. Some of the local establishments remain closed due to Hurricane Helene but there were plenty of options operational for food and essentials. We would recommend the place to friends— Five stars!

This place is heaven on earth. So idyllic, quiet, lots of hiking. The house itself is cozy and well stocked. Kevin and Linda are wonderful hosts.

We enjoyed our long weekend and had a great experience. The home was welcoming and exactly as described! The beds were comfortable, beautiful bathrooms, and amazing view of the mountains. There was a storm during our stay but the maintenance team made us aware that a tree had fallen and gave us detailed instructions on how to exit the neighborhood. Eve, the host, communicated all details and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. Definitely recommend this home, Anakeesta, if you are looking to stay in the Maggie Valley area.

Mark’s place was perfect for our group of 6! Some highlights: the kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal and the property feels nice and secluded without being far out or hard to get to. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy little place in a quiet neighborhood! Perfect for families, too!

Had a wonderful stay. This was our second time reserving Elk View. It was my husbands 71st birthday. We took our granddaughter, whom had never been to the mountains. Our first evening there two elk walked by the front porch. My granddaughter was so excited and took a few pics. We visited Cherokee, Cattaloochee ski resort, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cattaloochee Village and of course Mountaineer Shop (our favorite) Unfortunately our fur baby got sick and had to be rushed to a 24 hrs emergency clinic and we had to leave a day early to have her vet attend to her back home. We are extremely happy with Eve and Elk View cabin. And definitely will be back!
