We stayed at Lou's lovely little house for 10 days and was happy to have it! We were working all over Iowa and used the house and Thompson as a "base camp." Lou has everything you need there to feel comfortable and right at home. Met lots of friendly folks in town as we walked the dog. Great value for your own dog-friendly abode. Next time we're working in the area, hopefully Lou's place will be available!

We really loved the home! It was perfect for our larger family and homey!! The outdoor patio was really nice to gather on and we spent most of the time outside even when it was raining. We were a little concerned about having little ones and the breakables around but everything was left unscathed. One little thing if we had a wishlist item would be a grill. It’s such a beautiful outdoor entertainment space, a grill would be amazing instead of having to eat out or cook inside when it was so beautiful. If we come back, this is the first place we are looking to see if it’s available!! I forgot to mention that we loved getting to add a pin to where we were from on the map!! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!!
