When renting the home, you have exclusive access to the lower half of the property. This includes the garden, the fire pit, and the pool/spa. (Pool is unheated; spa is heated.) The hosts split their time between the ranch & Austin. They may be onsite in the house next door. Secluded 8 acre hill country retreat. As you drive the winding roads, you'll weave around to find a hill country oasis far away from any worries. Nestled deep in the oak trees outside Driftwood, a calm peacefulness welcomes all at Olinca Ranch. Olinca Ranch - where the sun sets to find the bright stars, with no light pollution or a neighbor in sight! Ahhh, the country sounds of whippoorwill's, crickets, and cicadas encompasses you. Take a deep breath and relax! Enjoy the 40 foot modern pool during the day and the heated spa under the moonlight. Exchange stories around the fire pit with a nice glass of red from one of the local wineries. Watch a sunset from the front porch or relax and smoke a cigar in the covered back porch with an evening Old Fashioned. Whatever you decide, you'll find serenity and depart with warm memories. Guests will have exclusive use to the pool, garden, fire pit, yard and pool toys in the barn. Park in the gravel parking lot - do NOT drive through the rock wall entrance to the garden. We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, spacious, and perfect for our large group. It’s close to lots of attractions, which made getting around super easy. We loved the extra amenities — the cute little putt putt corner, pool, and outdoor dining area were huge highlights. The beautiful trees in the yard added such a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend! The home is in a peaceful neighborhood close to the lake, with beautiful mountain views all around. Every morning we enjoyed walking through the area — it was the perfect way to start the day. One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife that visited the backyard each evening; deer, armadillos, birds, it was such a special experience for the whole family. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Edwin was a great host, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature!

ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE with this place. It is very spacious clean and the bet park right in the middle of nature. Being right on the river, you are immersed in nature, think of camping but with your own personal bathroom and air conditioned room when you want to chill. we had fun in the water kayak, swimming, tubing, fishing. we did it all and had a blast. Erin herself was informative and so kind. She is such a sweetheart. Honestly there are nothing but positive things to say!! We will definitely be back!!! The best time!!

The river was amazing!! we absolutely had the best birthday trip with the kiddos. The stairs leading up and down are NO joke - but TOTALLY worth the hike for the amazing river access. We will definitely be back and stay longer ^_^ beautiful deck and space was just what we needed and then some.

This was a great spot for a small family with a little kid! I am a huge outdoorsman so this fishing themed cabin made me feel at home. Really close access to river road and the kitchen was just perfect to make a small breakfast. It does get quite warm during the daytime, I would recommend maybe a larger fan than the one provided, but that’s me being overly critical as we enjoyed our time here. Overall, easy and affordable place especially if you’re just needing a place to rest your head. I’d take this over a hotel any day.
