Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Haverigg

Peter was very helpful, and the check-in process was easy. We arrived early, and when I mentioned this to Peter, he told me that I could check in right away if the cleaner had finished. That really made my day. The place was lovely, cozy, and quiet; it felt like home. Thank you once again for all your help. We look forward to visiting you again soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, nice apartment everything we needed was provided and was kept to a high standard. The only let down was parking as we were the only place without a place provided. All in all a great experience.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

Beautiful location few minutes walk into the centre. Handbook in the apartment to describe things that may occur when at the house and how to resolve such as heating and hot water. Comfortable and clean bedding with space for belongings. Well suited and fitted kit h with all that you need. Bathroom has all necessary things needed. Lovely stay!

Exactly as described. Set up with everything needed for a self catering stay. Central location to shops and beach. The flat decor is a little tired but was clean and comfortable.

Caxton Cottage was the perfect base for our week exploring the Lake District. The location is perfect — just steps from the train station, bus stops and a beautiful large grocery store. Within minutes you can walk to any kind of restaurant/coffee shop in town, or down the hill to Bowness. The cottage was a wonderfully cozy, comfortable and peaceful home for us. Well outfitted, we cooked and stayed in several nights after our active days of biking, boating and exploring. Kay is wonderful. Every interaction was warm, gracious, helpful and she responded within minutes!

I can’t recommend Will and Giles’ place enough. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The information sent prior to arrival was brilliant, the cottage was much bigger than we expected and it’s in an amazing location right by Coniston. The place was spotless and had some lovely touches. We will be back!

The venue is stunning, the photos do not do it justice! Everyone has everything the need in each room with their own en suite and the grandness of the building is something else! You have so much space, the large garden area wraps around back and side and is beautiful with stunning views! Everything you could need in the kitchen and welcome bottle very kindly provided by our hosts! Plenty of entertainment and eating areas! When leaving one of our cars broke down and they were very understanding and accommodating! Perfect location, made our stay extra special!

Very enjoyable weekend at High Lowscales. The views are especially impressive, so while you enjoy a beer you look over the coast. The house is spacious and well catered for and the jacuzzi and sauna are nice touches. Mark was very responsive to a few questions and requests and gave us loads of information about the local area.

Absolutely beautiful place close to everything you need in Ulverston but nice and quiet too. Fabulously comfortable beds and living room, lots of space, spotless, lovely interior decor and a really good room rate too – a real bargain and exactly what we needed for our visit. Handy for great pubs and an especially good chip shop (The Chippy Bank, recommended), this is a great choice for families or small groups of friends who need a nice base to explore this beautiful region. Hannah was the perfect host with friendly, useful comms and good advice. We loved our stay and if we come back to the area we’ll definitely be booking here. Thanks Hannah!

House was exactly as described and pristine. The kids loved their own space in the “loft”. Would be slightly weary of stairs with younger kids (especially if they walk at night). Kitchen had everything you need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The house was super cozy and the beds very comfortable. Fantastic location - very remote if that’s what you’re looking for. Perfect location for climbing Scafell although we didn’t attempt due to the weather. Fair drive on tricky fell roads if you’re looking to spend lots of time in Windermere / Ambleside / Keswick. But perfectly doable. Great pub down the road with play area and football for the kids. Would love to return / have stayed longer to walk around the area close to the house.

We’re just home after a very lovely stay in the most beautiful location. Louise communicated well and provided us with a pristine place to stay with everything we could wish for to make us feel at home. The apartment has the most amazing views from every room and is very comfortable and well equipped. There are so many lovely places to visit in the area, some walkable from the accommodation, that we definitely need to visit again. We would have no hesitation in recommending this air bnb - it’s one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you Louise and Mick 😊

We had a fabulous long weekend here. Right from the very friendly welcome from Simon when we arrived to a cheery goodbye. The house is beautiful. Very well maintained and an excellent standard. Total luxury. Very comfortable and we all felt at home. The views from the house are stunning and the hot tub was lovely with even better views than the house. Thank you Simon for being quick to respond ahead of the trip and for having such a beautiful home that we got to stay in. We hope to be back when we sign up for another Lake District running or swimming event.

Lovely little bolthole, incredible location in the heart of the village. You’re a minute walk away from most of the restaurants, pubs and sights. Getting checked in was super easy and the place was spotless, thank you Nia!

lovely apartment which was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great central location with fantastic public transport near by. Lottie had sent some reccomendations to visit and places to eat. Like most places Mondays are tricky finding a restaurant open. Everything was great and Lottie was a kind and responsive host who left us gorgeous local goodies to ear, much appreciated

Abigail’s is the most beautiful home! We visit every year not only because of the home but because of Simone, the host is amazing!! She really is a 10/10 host, very easy to talk to, caring and very responsive to your needs! We feel very lucky to spend our time in the lakes but thats a huge thank you to Abigail’s for making our holiday special! Thank you Simone - you’re amazing 🤩

The Hideaway was a beautiful, peaceful and perfect setting for us to celebrate our anniversary, made all the more special by Fiona’s very warm welcome, outstanding hospitality and helpfulness, providing guests with everything you might need. One of the comfiest and largest beds we’ve ever slept in; lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen; all very clean and with many thoughtful touches throughout. Huge bonus to have many perfect spots to sit and relax in the garden and absolutely love the ‘hot chocolate hut’! Great walks from the doorstep, super path to Kirkby Lonsdale and loads of places to visit and eat. Thanks Fiona for a really lovely weekend and a beautiful and very generous welcome basket - we look forward to returning as a weekend was far too short to enjoy the area and the Hideaway!

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

This apartment is very spacious - bigger than it appears in the photos. It is well equipped, warm and comfortable. There are useful instructions for all the appliances etc. It was lovely to have a view of the bay from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The location is central but peaceful and the private parking space is very useful. You can walk to the promenade in under 10 minutes. Communication with Carina was very prompt, friendly and efficient.

This was by far the best place I stayed while travelling in the UK for 6 weeks. Fiona greeted me on arrival and showed me how everything worked. She also made some great suggestions for local walks and cafes. The apartment is spacious, with modern decor and spotlessly clean. The host has provided everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It’s located within a few minutes of the shops and within walking distance to the buses and trains. Although it’s close to everything, it’s tucked away down a laneway so it’s extremely quiet and private. I highly recommend this apartment.
