Maison Marcks Champagne | Old Town Ay

It is not known which year the house was built but its antique oak beams throughout the building date from at least early 1600's. Tall ceilings offer a spacious and airy yet very cosy space across three floors. The courtyard has a lunch/dining area as well as a lounge area under roof by the open fire place - you have private access to this tranquil and magical space. Maison Marcks is a comfortable and exclusive home to stay in while exploring Champagne and its many legendary vineyards.

The estate's annex

Located in the Flemish countryside within the estate of the 1778 ingelshof manor. This atypical accommodation brings all comfort and cocooning in a green setting. 35 minutes from Lille and 20 minutes from Dunkirk and its beaches. 5 minutes from Belgium and 40 minutes from the Channel Tunnel or Bruges. From the sea to the Flanders mountains. From the white cliffs to the grey cliffs in Bruges. There are plenty of activities nearby. Pubs or restaurants. Cycling or hiking await you.

Cottage and meadow

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing : everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium : Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. La maison est au cœur de la nature : au milieu d'une prairie, tout près des grands arbres et d'un point d'eau. Un endroit paisible, reposant. In the Val d'Oise, 10 minutes from Magny-en-Vexin (A15 highway), 10 minutes from the Villarceaux Golf Course and 20 minutes from the Impressionism Museum (Claude Monet Foundation – Giverny).
