The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

The house is an old tower built on 3 levels. The lower level is the double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet, it has french doors that open out onto the lower decking terrace. The middle level is the kitchen, dining sitting area with wood burning stove and flat screen tv and there is an oak staircase that leads to the upper twin bedroom with seperate toilet and basin. We can accommodate 4 people (see 5 with the mezzanine) by offering calm and comfort. In a bucolic setting, come and taste the simple and authentic charm of an old farmhouse, quiet with incredible views of the valley. You have a private entrance. The access to the garden is not direct by the house but you are welcome (shared with the owners). East/ West crossing home. An outbuilding can be used to store bikes. Easy parking.

La Cache is a charming cottage nestling below the cliffs and towers of the exquisite medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois.
