Its 6000 years of history will be told to you by the owner who will take you through the history of France, from prehistory to the French Revolution through the Gallo-Romans (temple dedicated to Mercury), the court of François 1st, the command in the armies of Louis XIV, etc ...: all the archives of the castle are kept since 1403

Bonnefond Castle, 15 guests, 12 beds, 7 bedrooms

Perfect for weddings and private gatherings with a picture perfect view of the sun setting in the west. Nearly 3 acre private estate with other building and surrounding walls. A true Medieval 12th Century castle in Limoges. Up to 15 guests, with 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, within 5 levels and 5926 sq ft space. The chateau is situated within minutes of conveyance stores, roadways, bus, rail, airport, yet in a rural location off a two lane road.

Red room of Château du Fraisse

Staying at Le Fraisse is like taking a trip back in time. This vast castle has been in our family, with the same name, for 800 years! The house is furnished as it was in the past, and such is the atmosphere of our rooms. Not "new in old", but rather the charm of yesteryear, when friends were welcomed as family. Breakfast will be served in the beautiful dining room, and a family member will be happy to show you around our extraordinary home.

Beamed Suite & Governess Room

The Beamed Suite & Governess Room provide a spacious family area with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small living area. It is decorated in a quirky art deco style and has two stained glass windows created by the local artist Rebecca Oliver. The tower bedroom has a Queen sized bed and views to the valley. The Governess has a double bed and there is a sofa bed in the living area. We can add a single bed or cot to the Governess bedroom.

Self catering suite in a 14th century chateau

Château De Montmagner offers you the rare chance to stay in a former Historic Monument from the 14th century With three luxury self catering gites accessed via the original 14th century turret staircase, with your own private lounge and kitchen, bedroom and luxury bathroom. Make use of the beautiful outside space with tables, chairs, parasols and sun loungers. There is a firepit with BBQ tripod if you would like some alfresco dinning.

Chateau Mareuil

Our beautiful Medieval Chateau is situated close to Montmorillon and Le Dorat in the Vienne region. The chateau itself sleeps up to 13 people in 2 luxurious turret suites and a family bedroom on the ground floor with adjacent shower room. In addition, there are two recently renovated gites, sleeping 6 and 2 which can be rented separately (see separate ads). We live on site in a separate cottage with our 2 chateau cats!

The Peach/Green Room of Château du Fraisse

An incredible charm for the salmon room and its beautiful Ancien Régime furniture. Also practical as a Suite (€150) to come accompanied by a big child, or a friend (green room directly adjoining), under the very gentle gaze of a pastel by one of our Danish ancestors. The bed is topped with a draped sky, worthy of Sleeping Beauty!
