Barn accommodation in Haute-Vienne

We spent three nights in Pierre's proposed accommodation. We enjoyed our stay despite the bad weather. We were able to enjoy a good wood fire and wide open spaces. Pierre was very nice, whether it was friends and family. I recommend staying there.

We had an absolutely wonderful visit to Pieter’s gite, it having everything we could need, spotlessly clean and in the most beautiful and peaceful setting surrounded by wild flower meadows. Pieter and Marjon were the best hosts, very warm and friendly, always happy to help and providing us with wine and dinner on arrival and some essentials in the fridge. It was a 20/25 minute walk to the lake at Sussac which was great for relaxing and swimming. The closest town with a supermarket is a short drive away so a car is needed.

This is a lovely spacious gite in a relaxing, rural area. Well refurbished, as spotlessly clean as pictured and equipped with all mod cons from dishwasher to barbecue. Close (walking distance) to picturesque village of Chabanais for bakery, pharmacy and supermarket. The surrounding area is beautiful. Loads to do for the family (watersports, bikes, adventure park, velo-rail etc) while nearby Angouleme has enough history and culture for the adults. We enjoyed blazing sunshine and spent a fair amount of time lazing by the pool. Debs and Gary were great hosts. Welcoming and friendly - let you get on with it but there with local advice if needed. We stayed a week but could easily have done two. Recommended for a relaxing break.

Great stay at Marie-Laure's cottage which is very nice. The stone house is superb with beautiful wood paneling. The cottage is well equipped and there is even a whole children's play wardrobe. It's nice to walk on the beautiful wooded terrain and settle in at night to observe the stars. The cottage is not far from the highway which allows you to quickly visit lots of places in the area

Second stay in Dompierre les Églises. impeccable accommodation, hosts welcoming and discreet. Great for a quiet stay with family.

Great time spent in this house. Very nice and super well-equipped place, both indoors and out. I have rarely seen the kitchen of such a well-equipped cottage... like at home. Bathrooms at the top! original bedroom decor made with recup... but with a lot of style and taste.

We loved our stay with Nils and Esse. The studio is spacious, very well equipped, clean with beautiful decor. We enjoyed the lovely terrace with beautiful views, nature, hair, flowers… Nils and Esse are very friendly and welcoming. They even secured the terrace and window for our 2.5 year old son before arriving! Thank you so much. It was perfect 😊

We had the pleasure to stay in a beautiful setting, surrounded by lush greenery and the tranquility of the countryside. The property exceeded all our expectations. The charming house offered plenty of space for everyone, with comfortable rooms and a cozy living room. Daniel and Becky went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and had a great time. From walks through the picturesque villages to nice trips to attractions nearby, there was something for everyone. We look back on this vacation with a smile and cherish the memories we made with children and grandchildren. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We spent a family weekend in the accommodation offered by Nathalie. The accommodation is atypical and perfect for a total change of scenery: charming and well-appointed accommodation inside and out, in a green and quiet setting. Each room has its own shower room + sink, which also allows a certain "independence" for each couple. Beyond the accommodation, the hosts are welcoming, available and full of good recommendations for a great stay! Don't hesitate 😉

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage! Everything has been thought out for the sake of holidaymakers with beautiful outdoor amenities offered! Beautiful and large swimming pool, pétanque and badminton court, private forest, you will inevitably have a beautiful time in this cottage with high-end services.

Couldn’t recommend highly enough - great place, location, and people. We had a fantastic time.

We had a great weekend with the family in this spacious and well-appointed barn. We enjoyed the well-stocked welcome basket. The kitchen is ideal for eating in large numbers and preparing meals as a family. The piano is great for cooks like us. Young and old enjoyed the garden games as well as the pool (very safe) and the jacuzzi. Very good welcome and advice from John and Fiona. It was perfect.

We had a great quiet time in a rural and atypical setting. The area is superb with its beautiful castles and good local products. In addition, we were able to learn about pottery thanks to the course offered by Kristiane who mastered his art. It's a very good address.
