Holiday rentals with lake access in Hauraki Gulf / Tīkapa Moana

Lovely property on the outskirts of Rotorua. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

Place was a stunner. Beautifully appointed and quality appliances. Spa was amazing, the welcome gifts were next level. Reychelle was the most accomodating and friendly host I have encountered. Would highly recommend. Thanks Reychelle 🩵

A spectacular experience for my partner and I. We wished we could have booked more nights! The scenery, the spa pool and just everything about this place was perfect. A nice getaway from the noise back in Auckland. The host was very accommodating. We definitely will be coming back! 5+ Star rating from us.

Another great stay which is perfect for our fishing trips, always warm and cosy and enough room for our large group.

This is an incredible Bach! It’s warm, comfy, clean and well stocked with everything you could ever need for a great holiday. Waking up and kayaking across the lake, followed by a spa with the most amazing view was such a highlight of the trip! We visited Okere Falls and the Okere Store which did lovely food and craft beer too. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for two months. Highly recommend this for anyone in the area for a longer period. It is very walkable to the centre of Hamilton. There are co-working spaces nearby (I used The Crate) if that’s something that’s important. Within a very short walk there is a car rental place and making use of that to explore the surrounding area was excellent. Good bus links and the buses take both Bee Card and Cash (at the time of writing). Fantastic place, would absolutely stay again if I am in the area

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

Another fantastic stay at this lovely house in the most perfect location. Being able to head around the lake so easily is such a bonus. Tracy was very quick with all communication and queries I had. Everything you need is in the hosue and the bd very comfortable. # WIll definitely stay again when in Hamilton

Beautiful, clean and so quiet, host was friendly and responsive. Comfy bed, nice and warm unit, had everything we needed. Next time we are in the area I'll look to book here again!

Immaculate, fresh and welcoming apartment completely kitted out with more than you would need for convenience - loved the little 'extra' touches throughout especially the way it is perfectly equipped for families with young ones!

Staying at Lucy's was like being in a dream. The perfect, idyllic, lakeside Kiwi-bach, this place matches all descriptions and photos. This place has everything - from a cozy fireplace, to kayaks to explore the lake and a modern bathroom, our family absolutely enjoyed staying here. There was a lot to do and keep yourself entertained with, we didn't struggle with having no wifi. The location is great, only 30 minutes to Rotorua and a lot of places to sightsee on the way there. The only downside of this place is that since it's close to the road there is some traffic noise, especially when big trucks go by. It wasn't an issue for us when staying there since we're city dwellers and accompanied to traffic noise, but if you're a light sleeper definitely bring ear plugs.

wonderful 3 night stay in an area we didn't know. Zoe's place was very spacious, very clean, comfortable and quiet. we enjoyed our stay and will be back. thanks Zoe for allowing us to have Molly with us too. 😍

We loved staying here. The house is presented beautifully, with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Silvana and Craig were wonderful hosts and will go out of their way to make you comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic place! The location is super convenient, grocery store and good playground just up the road. Main town just a bit beyond that in the opposite direction. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and having off street parking was convenient. Thank you Vicki we had a wonderful stay

The bach is great. Love the views and the sleepout was bigger than we thought. Great DVD selection.

Dan's place is just a piece of paradise! Right in front of the lake, with private jetty and private ramp, away from the main road, totally safe for children. Highly recommend! Dan is very responsive and welcoming, makes you feel like home. Looking forward to return again!

This was our 2nd 10 day stay& we were still happy with everything it offered -both for adults& our 2 moko-4&2 years. The outdoor shower& 2 eating areas are also bonus..
