A perfect hideaway with a gorgeous outside space nestled in the foothills of Mt. Paku. We would certainly recommend staying here for a peaceful retreat in a comfortable and clean room with everything you need. Tairua is a beautiful place and we loved our stay.

Everything which we needed was provided. Beautiful garden. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Very comfortable little place with a ton of nice little touches like artwork, good appliances, comfortable outdoor seating. Very close to the beach and the estuary. Even if you aren't a dog person, the dogs are so well behaved and quiet, they occasionally will visit you and you can give them a pat if you like.

I stayed here for 2 nights in March 2025 and simply loved the experience. The views are spectacular and its very quiet and beautiful here. Also its very close to Orewa where you can get coffee or nice restaurants. So much to see and do in the area! I would very highly recommend this place.

Had a fab stay near where we wanted to be. Views were to die for. Clean and tidy with everything you could need.

the place was sparkling clean Easy to find private Anne and Ralf were helpful interesting and friendly I loved their furbabies It was great to be able to park by the doors Two decks handy - one for morning and other for afternoon/evening!! Loved the design of the chalet I would love to bring my family next time!! The garden was fantastic and huge Everything in kitchen for cooking meals - no supermarket close but cafes in Tukakaha Has older tv but much nicer to relax outside Even Kiwis outside at night!!!! Would love to have climbed up to bedroom loft but too risky for me!! Loved small bedroom too!!! first place I've stayed at that has flyscreens. Luxury

I highly recommend Jodi's house—it absolutely ranks among the top three places I've stayed at in New Zealand! Upon arrival, Jodi warmly greeted us and then respectfully gave us privacy, which was perfect. She even pre-filled the spa with water in advance for our convenience, unlike some B&B that require guests to request it separately. And the adorable Toby was the cherry on top!

We had a lovely three night stay at Rowena’s property. I have always been a little reluctant to book properties that are part of someone’s section, but this place was excellent. We had our own entrance and private courtyard which worked out really well. Everything was immaculate, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable with good pillows etc. Rowena was excellent with her communication and nothing was too much trouble. The walk into town took about 18 minutes, and was hilly which may not suit some people but we found it ok. I would definitely recommend this property. Thanks again Rowena. 😊

Really enjoyed our stay here, just sad it was only for one night! We felt right at home and enjoyed the pool table and spa in the evening! Carla was great with the communication and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Appreciate the extra little touches as it really does make a difference - thank you again for a wonderful stay ☺️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robyn's place. She was super helpful, friendly and enjoyable to be with. She gave us great recommendations on what to do locally - walk to the beach, walk the forest track, visit the historical mining museum, walk the gorge. You can easily walk to the beach from the house and also up to the RSA for dinner, drinks and a nice view. The lodgings were incredible. The longer we were there the more we appreciated the thoughtfulness of the design and build of the rooms and the original artwork on the walls (all done by her and her husband). Very nice indoor and outdoor spaces and nice transitions between. And OMG the shower - one of the very best I've ever been in. We would stay there again any chance we got. Thank you for all the help, Robyn. It was the perfect end of our very stimulating but also tiring trip. Waihi Beach is a lovely family place. We are only sorry our daughter missed out! And a surf break and affordable surf school at the beach!

We had a lovely stay- the cottage is somehow even cuter than the photos! The beach is across the street and town is a mere 5 min walk away. Wish we had stayed longer!

From her first message to the last goodbye Caron has been the best host anyone could wish for- respectful of your privacy but equally warm and friendly and available for a chat. Carons attention to detail and thoughtfulness are evident with lots of inclusions that elevates her Airbnb above the rest. There are new toothbrushes, paste and razors in the bathroom, the kitchen is fully equipped including an air fryer! plus the pantry and fridge are stocked with an extremely generous array of breakfast provisions and more! There are books, games and toys for the whole family. Beds are super comfy with quality linens. Water pressure is next level! There are two lovely outdoor spaces - one fully enclosed with bbq and undercover dining area plus a dog kennel for your furry family member- love this! The other space has a lux spa covered with vines & fairy lights-great for that vino at the end of the day. This is a special place, so glad I got to stay here. Thank you Caron, for everything.

Perfect location in a quiet residential area right on the Lake. Peaceful accommodation with full kitchen , immaculate bathroom and comfortable beds. Glendyr was extremely welcoming and showed us around all the facilities, pool, spa pool bikes, laundry etc. She patiently showed us how to use the e-bikes and suggested a safe flat car free route into town. Easy access to Te Puia and other attractions . Modern laundry facilities with dryer and plenty of washing line drying space outside and inside the flat. We wish we could have stayed longer . Apologies Glendyr we think we forgot to empty the bathroom bin? We would highly recommend Tui Glen Thank you Glendyr for making our stay so relaxing.

Absolutely loved our stay in this perfect spot just minutes from Howick! Ideal for our small family with plenty of space for everyone to relax. The accommodation had absolutely everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, and the entire place was clean and well-maintained. Such a peaceful retreat while being so handy to all of Howick's amenities. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a convenient, comfortable, and relaxing getaway!

Fabulous place to stay. Highly recommend. Richard made us feel at home immediately. Super clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds. 20 mins easy walk to University. Appreciated the off street parking and charging my car up! Will be back.

Amanda's place is lovely, secure and quiet. It is set up beatifully and had every thing we needed for our 4 night stay. Great location at the north end of waihi beach. Five minute walk to the beach, 20/25 minute walk to the main shopping area. Amanda is a very welcoming host, helping us settle, then left us to ourselves after that. But we knew she would be available if we had any questions. Very much recommend.
