So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the lake shore. Hand-carved from thick logs, the cottage exudes peace. The cottage has a high living room, a reserved fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wood-burning sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered porch and a separate sauna for post-sauna cooling. In summer, the special feature of the place is the ringing of the cowbell in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd arrives at the beach to drink.

This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax. The bright and spacious cottage offers a 180-degree view of the lake, where you can see a pair of loons bobbing on the water. You can also see the Beaver family doing their thing in the nearby area. There is also a beautiful view of the lake from the separate sauna building.
