The fenced garden, which has a BBQ and seating area, can also be used. The centre of Altenau, with a supermarket, shops and restaurants, is a 10-minute walk away. To pass the time, Altenau offers the largest herb park in Germany, a disc golf course, a free forest swimming pool and the 'Heißer Brocken' crystal spa. The apartment is located on the first floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

Our apartment is located in Hohegeiß, a district of Braunlage. Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains at 640 meters above sea level. It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

The "Haselnuss" is located on the first floor of the house and is about 50 square meters. The large garden allows you to recharge your batteries or let off steam. Direct access to the terrace.
