Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Unfortunately, we spent less than 2 hours here if one doesn't account for the time we were asleep. In for a concert Saturday night and out for a hike Sunday morning. If we are ever in the area again, would love to stay a few days. Place was clean and private.

Exactly as described and more. The kitchen was well appointed. Extra little thoughtful touches, coffee, creamer and sugar, plastic baggies, garbage bags etc. we didn’t have to run out for anything. The place was super clean. The bathroom also thought of every little detail. Loved the back porch! Sat out there in the mornings for coffee. Comfortable front room. Yard was beautiful. I don't even know where to begin! We arrived in the dark and the place was easy to find because all the nice lights along the driveway! Approaching the treehouse and seeing it for the first time at night is truly magical! I would almost suggest arriving in the evening haha. We had some nice thunderstorms roll through on the second day and Cherisa was very kind to suggest a couple local storm shelters if need be. (We ended not needing it). Watching the lightening from the upper (covered) deck was probably one of my favorite experiences on our trip! The thunder is SO LOUD down in the creek valley! On our last night there was a barn owl in the tree near the hot tub that we got to watch. It's a palace in the trees! Every last detail was just perfect! The linens were all soft and fresh, and the place smelled amazing! We will definitely come back again! Amazing hosts, amazing treehouse. This is a vacation I will be reminiscing for a long time. Thank you so much for everything!
