Cottage holiday rentals in Harrison Township

The home had a beautiful view of the river we saw a bald eagle, blue heron and an osprey. We enjoyed the fire pit ( we did get yelled at by the neighbor next door for too much smoke do beware!). We did not have time for the hot tub but glad it was available.

Perfect stay for our family. Plenty of space for the kids to play in the backyard and the basement. The neighborhood was very friendly and easy to get around. The train station was a very easy walk, even for our almost 6 year old, where it's only 5 stops to get into Philadelphia to explore the city. Would definitely recommend for families.

We stayed for a weekend trip to New Jersey Motorsports Park and really enjoyed the house. We loved hanging out on the deck using the pool table, dart board, and hot tub. Overall it was a good spot we definitely will consider staying again.

The apartment is so cute and has such character and history! It was also very comfortable and we appreciated that. The stairs can be tricky, but we got used to them and paid extra attention when walking on them. Only other challenge was a very small bathroom sink which made it hard to wash your hands or face without splashing water out of the basin. Yes, parking is hard here, but we expected that. The streets are narrow and many are one-way, so navigating them isn't the easiest. But, if you can walk or take the train where you need to go...or have someone pick you up and drop you off...it'd be a non-issue!!

We have stayed at this house multiple times and this visit was just as good. The dogs loved the huge fenced in yard area, and we love the privacy and quiet of the area. The freshly-cut flowers in the kitchen were an added touch this time that we appreciated. This is close to family when we come to visit, so I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

I really don’t have any complaints about my stay. Everything you could need is just a quick 10-minute drive away, and there’s barely any traffic near the house. The only thing to point out is that the floors are squeaky, so it’s a bit tough to sleep if someone’s walking around. Other than that, I’d totally stay here again.

The house was very cool and cozy. The art and decor were well done and it was perfectly situated for what I was in town for. Dave was very responsive and his instructions were clear. Will stay here again. Thanks for the great experience!

Large, beautiful space with great big leather couches and beautiful bathroom where we felt immediately comfortable, great fenced in backyard.

Our stay was nothing less than exceptional. Beth was so friendly and helpful. She made us feel right at home and anticipated needs before we realized that it would be helpful. The view was amazing and the beach is like a perfect hidden gem. There was never more than one or two people out at any time. Most of or time out, we were the only ones. Beth's house is the definition of peace and tranquility. I hope to stay with her again.

We had a great time at Rizza’s place! The location was convenient with the beach/boardwalk less than 10 minutes away, and shops just down the street. The house was clean, and well stocked with the essentials, and had a beautiful backyard to enjoy. Rizza was very quick to respond with any questions we had, and checked in on us as well. We would love to return again in the future.

We attended a wedding at the William Penn Inn and a brunch the next day at the Joseph Ambler Inn, just 4 miles away. This location was perfect for our group. The first night, we gathered in the living room with its fun semicircular couch and visited each other. The area is nice for walking around the neighborhood. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, so it worked well with everyone's special food requirements.

Charming little place. Great location that is an easy walk to anything in Chesapeake City….Everything was exactly as described and was thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Loved the front porch to sip coffee in the morning! Would 100% recommend!

We were staying at Cherene's for a soccer tournament. Her home was adorable, well kept, and had a very homey feel to it. I loved sitting outside enjoying my morning coffee, She made her place feel welcoming from the moment you walked it. She had a few sweet treats ready for us and a few water bottles in the fridge to get us started. Cherene was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely return.

My family and I spent the weekend at Marla’s place while we were in town for a wedding. It was so charming, quiet, very accommodating for what we needed. Very clean and comfortable, and I felt like we were at a cute cottage on the water..so peaceful, a beautiful view, very relaxing vibe. Marla was very responsive and helpful anytime I reached out to her. I highly recommend her Airbnb if you’re looking for a cozy, quiet, place to stay in the Earleville area. I’d absolutely stay at her place again!

We enjoyed our 30th anniversary here. My wife and I love unique places with lots of history and charm. This place has it! Bobbie was an excellent host, communicated perfectly and the place was exactly as expected. She had everything you could want covered in the house. We used this as a jumping off point for many different activities in and around the area. Great place to stay! Jason & Laura

Joan was very responsive and helpful during our stay at Big Elk Cottage. The view of Big Elk Creek and wildlife was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and it was really nice to have breakfast supplies on hand when we arrived. The location is very convenient to Fair Hill. Great Airbnb experience!

Martha was a great host. The home was very well decorated, we loved it. She even let us check out late as our flight was late in the night. I will stay with her again when I’m in New Jersey. Thank you 🙏
