Family-friendly holiday rentals in Harrison Lake

A once in a lifetime trip for our family from The Netherlands! We had 6 people come to celebrate my husbands birthday! The house itself is big and beautiful, everyone had their own space. The kitchen is full of all the things you would need, and a delight to cook in. The house is so warm and welcoming, it was easy to feel comfortable. We felt like the house had all the essentials, we didn't need anything that wasn't there and easily found. It was so quiet, it was like being in a wildlife sanctuary! We saw deer, squirrels, and even a bald eagle. The hot tub did not dissapoint and one sister found the steam room a dream. We walked through Whatcom Falls Park, which is literally in the backyard. We could not have asked for a better home, and experience. We spent most of our time together sitting around the lovely dinner table, eating, laughing and just being together. Thank you for sharing your peaceful space with us. We created memories that will last a lifetime.

I'm a woman traveling solo with her service dog, so I'm the kind of traveler who often has to stress and worry about finding accessible accommodations. I'm so lucky I found this spot, it's gorgeous, safe, and 100% walkable area. Her place was so amazing, I booked it again for another stay before I head out of Canada to my next spot in Spain. I'm simply blown away by this host's kindness and friendliness! I even asked them today if they were an angel in disguise. ;-)

We had the pleasure of spending our May long weekend at Audrey’s. From the minute we walked in we felt at home, we weren’t even there or had our vehicles unpacked and we were already making plans to come back. Audrey’s had everything you could possibly need and things you wouldn’t even think of bringing. Basically pack your clothes and pack food and go… The pictures don’t even cut the mustard this place is beautiful inside and out and you can feel the love that is in this place and love that was put into this place. The beds are super comfy the pillows are like clouds we all had fantastic sleeps. If I could give 10/5 stars, I would. Thank you Harris family for sharing your cabin and we will definitely be back again soon.

The place was exactly as described. Because the hosts regularly use the place for themselves, there was a lot of additional comforts that made it very livable. For example, the kitchen is very well stocked, the knives are sharp, there are lots of towels to use, and the backyard is a great extension of the living space. The location is central and private and everything is simple and easy to use (fireplaces, BBQ, hot tub, tv, music etc). Beds are comfortable enough and the outdoor space is great! There is a big outdoor dining table, outdoor lounge chairs for the firepit, and an awesome little covered outdoor living room with an additional firepit and TV. The shower and bathroom is really nice too! The communication with the hosts was not the most welcoming. They were concerned about the purpose of our trip and even went as far as to say that it is "not normal" for a group of 7 long-term friends to stay at Cultus lake. Hopefully they can show guests more trust in the future.

We had a great time at Scott’s place. It was the perfect accommodation for a weekend of snowboarding at Mt. Baker. Some highlights were; the hot tub after a day on the mountain, the game cube which had Mario cart to keep us entertained, and how close the cabin was to some yummy restaurants (Chair 9- great pizza). Scott was also going to allow us to stay an extra night since the weather going back to Vancouver wasn’t great for driving which was very kind. Would recommend his place to anyone and would love to come back in the summer to explore.

Amazing weekend getaway for the winter time. Home is beautiful and is very cozy. Excited to come back during the summer and try out the tent spots that is on the property!

Campbell’s house felt like staying in someone’s home. It was comfortable and lived in. It worked very well for our travel needs, and Campbell was super responsive and clear with his communication. Thanks for a great experience!

Lindas place was great for all 6 of us! A lot of mirrors which was great for all us girls getting ready in the morning. We had no issue with only one bathroom, especially because it was relatively large. We loved how spacious it was. It was also so close to so many things, would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a great stay at William's cabin. The location was perfect for playing up at Baker and a winter hike along the river. The cabin was comfortable and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. William was very responsive before and during our stay. We'll be back!

Deborah was very responsive and friendly. Her place was perfect and will definitely stay there again when visiting Bellingham.

We were able to find the location quickly and the check in was very convenient. The space was cozy and clean. It was close to downtown Bellingham (about 10 minute drive) and close to Galbraith where we went mountain biking. Our bikes felt safe stowed on the property. We recommend this stay.

Loved it! Great location, place is so adorable and love the neighborhood.

It was a beautiful self contained unit the most peaceful neighbourhood. For being in the back of her house it still felt like a little sanctuary and the amenities and the space were so inviting. The surrounding area is so abundant with hikes and lakes and anything for nature lovers, and I felt like I could fully ground and relax during my four days there. Fully reccomend a visit!

Very relaxing stay, exactly what you need to disconnect and find some quiet, alone time. The bathtub... *chefs kiss*. It was pouring rain and you could hear the rain on the roof, which made it even cozier. If train nosies bother you at night, I advise you to bring ear plugs. Overall, was exactly what I was looking for and will enjoy another stay.

Nice 3-bedroom 2-bathroom spot with a hot tub and Foosball table. Located really close to Chair 9, which makes for an easy meet up spot for groups. Just be aware that there is almost no cell phone service in this area

The place is very clean and organized. Greg was very helpful with check-in and reached out to see if there was anything we needed before and upon arrival. Great host. Very nice unit with an incredible deck and view. Overall great experience.

Very calm and peaceful getaway to unwind

Matt's place was perfect for my group to spend an easy weekend skiing at baker. Very close to the glacier ski shop and wake n bakery, 30 mins from the slopes, and within walking distance of chair 9. There were games and a few dvd's to choose from in the condo, as well as a community building with a pool table, hot tub + pool, and much more. Matt supplied helpful instructions and was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a great stay and will definitely be back to visit again soon! The condo was exactly as pictured- very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and lots of space for everyone. It’s in a great location across the street from the beach and within walking distance to food and yummy bakeries/ice cream. The kids especially loved the pool! Fred was a great host and answered all of my questions quickly!

The room is MUCH bigger than I expected. This is essentially a hotel that you check into. But the room was nice, big, and the kitchen is fully stocked with nice cooking equipment. You will need to pack spaces, cooking oil, and foil/Saran wrap.
