Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Hants County

Thank you for a wonderful stay. What an awesome house, right on the lake with amazing views. The house had everything you needed, beautifully clean with every home comfort. Rebecca checked in with us before, during and after our stay. We were sad to have only had one nights stay.

We enjoyed staying at Robert's fabulously decorated home. It is a unique home in a beautiful setting; it's not often we get to stay in a home with exotic birds, friendly ducks, and a dinosaur room. And Robert is an excellent host. It's a great location for seeing the area - many attractions within a 1-2 hour drive. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Nova Scotia.

Jay was an excellent host! Very responsive and some helpful recommendations. The location is walking distance to Tim’s, grocery story, VIA, parks and downtown. We were 6 women and there was plenty of beds and heads for us to easily get ready in the morning or for supper. (My bed was more comfortable than the one at home!) The pictures are exactly as the place is. There was even a sweet note and care package when we arrived. We all highly recommend Jay’s Palace!

We loved our stay here. Great location for getting to different places. Beds were super comfortable. Nice front porch to sit and relax in the evening. Owners live on the property so you will pass by eachother, they are really friendly.

Wonderful spot. Well appointed and a bonus my small little four legged friend could join us. The view and new oceanside deck were spectacular. My only wish was that we could have had great weather. Mother nature wasn't on our side. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Cheers! Nicole

A beautiful property, only a short distance from the wineries. We stayed for my sisters bachelorette and it was the perfect spot! So picturesque! The kitchen was so spacious and had everything you could possibly need! Every detail was so well thought out, will definitely recommend for anyone going with a larger party and looking for somewhere to stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described — peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — it’s clear that the hosts care deeply about their guests’ experience. The nature around the place is absolutely beautiful, and the quietness made it feel like a real retreat. Thank you for such a lovely atmosphere. We’d be happy to return someday!

Absolutely lovely place!! I will say that the Google maps location was a bit off (about a kilometer further down creek road than the place actually is)--follow the instructions from Lesa and Steve and you'll be all set!

If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax and make some memories this is the place. The sunrises from the loft were magnificent- and the short walk to enjoy coffee on the lake was well worth it. Indoor and outdoor areas were well thought out, and just added to our overall experience. We will definitely be back :)

Lina and family were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. When we couldn’t figure out the fire table she was so quick to help us figure it out— to be very clear, it was definitely user error lol. The location was beautiful, the hot tub was divine. It was the best way to spend my 30th birthday. We are so impressed with the whole experience. Thank you times a million to our sweet host. :)

It was a fab place to stay , remote but super cosy ! It was spotless and everything was comfortable .

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

Amazing place! Peaceful and private with a beautiful view. Having the hot tub on the deck is perfect for rainy nights, which we had one night of our stay. The hot tub was clean, but not so full of chemicals that it made your skin/eyes burn, which we encountered at a different place we stayed in the past. Super easy to find and figure out which cottage is yours. They have everything that you would need, including extra throw blankets. Also have everything needed to get a fire started (paper, lighter etc) although we did bring our own wood because we weren’t sure if any was provided. BBQ works fantastic! We would definitely return!
