Tiny house holiday rentals in Hancock County

It’s a cute little den! Not quite glamping, but a step up from a tent. The outside set up is awesome. The inside is small, but you have all you need. The bed is a twin and a little high off the ground, so if you have two adults (especially one that moves around at night) the bed can be a bit tight. The outhouse is a walks away, which is fine in the day but a little scary at night. The location is awesome. It’s about 25-30 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia, so you can enjoy the tourist/ hiking activities and return to peace and quiet. Overall, we loved it. I super recommend this place for anyone who wants an elevated camping experience.

This was so beautiful. the view from the cabin: outstanding, watching the ebb and flow of the tides, lobster boat, bald eagle, loons, seals, wild life! Cabin was comfortable, we cooked in most days and there was everything you need. Cabin was clean and bed comfortable. We stayed June 1 - 9. visited Arcadia national park, Barharbor and the surrounding area. just beautiful. Great stay, and would stay again.

The Hideaway is located at a convenient and very peaceful location, with cafes and restaurants at a walkable distance. Suggest to download offline maps and google maps got us to the correct location every time. Hideaway is a short drive from Bar Harbor and other places in and around Acadia. Marc and Victoria are wonderful hosts- very responsive and provided some amazing suggestions on places to eat and hike. :) We would love to comeback and stay at this quaint and beautiful property.

We loved our stay. We visited mostly for our trip to Acadia, so we did a lot of back and forth driving, but our stay at Treetop was peaceful and perfect for our needs. We love the quiet and the beautiful view. The trail connected to the property was a huge bonus—our pup loved it! Suzanne was very helpful, detailed, and responsive. We appreciated her guidance!

Super cute rustic cabin, amazing location but remote. We enjoyed it very much, had a cute little porcupine eating the apples out of the tree next to us. Very “chill” vibe at this place, if you are looking for fancy… not for you.

Rick and Karens place was an absolutely beautiful relaxing getaway. It was a perfect central point to all we had planned for the weekend. It was so peaceful, we had the chance to see a few very nice deer right out front as we watched the sunrise. I would highly recrecommend anyone to take advantage of this space. The house was spotless and provided anything you could need for a very relaxing getaway. I look foreward to returning.

We loved our stay! We wanted something that felt like camping with some accommodations for the chillier temperatures in fall.

This was a perfect location for hiking Acadia! The cabin had everything we needed and felt very private and comfortable. We would definitely book again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Cozy, comfortable, clean. We had a lovely stay in Gwen’s tiny home and found it fully functional in its layout and amenities. We were able to do food prep comfortably (ample sized fridge for a week of simple, fresh meals), and there was storage space for luggage (including golf clubs!) Host was helpful and always responded quickly to messages. Loved this little house!

The home itself was awesome and truly unique. Also very comfortable. There are trails to visit and you really can’t find a bad view. Everyone on the island was friendly. I will suggest you bring food over because there is a very small market with your basics but if you need anything specific you should bring it over. We also recommend making your return reservations at the time of your arrival for the ferry. We were almost stranded because certain Wednesday’s of the month are called “wacky Wednesday” due to being fewer ferries available and reservations being sold out the night before. Just be aware of that. Otherwise the island is gorgeous and Gregory’s home is truly special. We would definitely return.

My husband and I had a great stay. We really enjoyed the fire pit outside in the evenings. The home was very cozy and had everything we needed. Close drive to Bangor.

Can’t say enough amazing things about our stay! The cabin and property are so thoughtfully designed and laid out, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. David & Bill shared local recommendations prior to our trip and all of them were 10/10 - from restaurants to general stores, everywhere we went was a standout. We knew going into it we’d be about an hour from Acadia, so the drive didn’t bother us. We spent our days in Bar Harbor and our evenings near the house, eating at incredible local spots exploring the Sedgwick area. The local snacks upon arrival were really the cherry on top.

100% would recommend! Comfortable, clean, gorgeous scenery, every extra someone could ask for in a cabin on a lake. Would definitely come back again!

Toby was extremely helpful and responsive. He answered all my questions and assisted me in finding the cabin when I got lost. I would definitely return again! Five stars are not enough for this lovely accommodation. The setting was serene, quiet and accessible to all that the area has to offer; we got married at Acadia National Park and spent the rest of the week here. It couldn’t have been more perfect! The hosts, Carrie and Adam, were extremely kind, thoughtful and responsive. We will definitely want to come back soon.

We had a great time at Keri’s for our honeymoon! There were very clear instructions and a helpful little instruction sheet for anything we might need, including local recommendations! We felt right at home and it still felt like a very private space even though there is a shared yard with the main house. We would DEFINITELY return if we were ever in the area.

Cabin is incredibly snug and cozy and not far from Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Tucked away for a perfect relaxed getaway on the island. Had all the essentials, and I will say: cabin had great lighting features and shower water pressure/temperature was great. Would 1000% recommend.

We have stayed in a lot of air bnb. This one is quite memorable in that there is space in the binder to draw . And so we did. We had a wonderful time here . Thank you

what an incredible! place!! felt right at home and so safe. it was cozy with the heater since the temps were lower than expected. it was absolute perfection!! Sean and Carra sent some great recommendations, we loved Abel's Lobster! and it was such a a bonus to be on the quiet side of the island. thank you for making this the trip of a lifetime!

Lovely cute cottage 30 mins from Acadia National Park. Laila was quick to respond and a pleasant host. Beautiful flowers outside the window with hummingbirds feeding on them. The bed was very comfortable!

Such an amazing, cozy little haven with amazing hosts! They left us detailed instructions on how to find the place and check-in, as well as a lovely list of suggested restaurants, shops, and places to visit. It's about an hour's drive from Bar Harbor but the serenity and privacy of the cottage, as well as the great value, are well worth it, and the route to and from is scenic and gorgeous. Jeannie met us when we arrived and showed us around, she was so warm and kind! This was such a great place for my boyfriend and I to stay on our first vacation together (in our first AirBnB) and I am so grateful to Jack and Jeannie for their hospitality! I would definitely recommend this to others planning to visit Acadia and the surrounding area.

This is our third time staying at the Arthaus. Scott’s place is beautifully designed, modern, immaculately clean, and so comfortable!! We spend our days in Acadia park and love to go home to this private cottage gem. Scott is a fantastic host!!!
