In the cottage on the shore of Höytiäinen, you can spend your holiday by a unique lake landscape. The wood-heated sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and fireplace for heating in winter. Cooking with an Airfryer, microwave or on the terrace with a 5-burner gas grill. Drinking water is available directly from the kitchen faucet. The guest has access to the entire cottage, which has sleeping facilities for two, a sauna, a toilet and a small kitchen. The air heat pump ensures a suitable indoor temperature. 13 km to the center.

Apartment in an old school

Apartment at the sheltered end of the former village school. The apartment has a kitchen, an open bedroom and a bathroom. Sleeps four. Double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment has a teacher's platform and outdoor stairs, so it is not accessible. The outdoor sauna is heated for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 8 km from the city center. The rest of the building is for the host's own use. There is room in the yard to stay and, for example, barbecue. Also suitable for families with children.

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. For those interested, we will be happy to introduce the arboretums during the visit. The household includes two Lapphunds, a cat, a rooster and 6 hens. Breakfast available

Studio apartment in a peaceful area in Niinivaara

Siisti 21m² yksiö sijaitsee puiston reunalla rauhallisella Niinivaaran omakotitaloalueella. Rakennus sijaitsee samalla tontilla omakotitalon kanssa kuitenkin täysin erillään ja omalla sisäänkäynnillä. Läheltä löytyvät: sairaalan palvelut 1,4km, S-market (auki 24/7) 700m, apteekki, ravintoloita sekä hiihtoladut/lenkkipolut alkavat takapihalta. Vieraalla on käytettävissä kaksi polkupyörää. Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Style is rustic with a light twist of retro functionalism. Now we have moved 200m, on the opposite side of the road, and we offer Villa for our quest. Your sincerely Leena & Juha

Air-conditioned and with a sauna, close to the central hospital

This cozy apartment with cooling air conditioning and sauna is located close to the central hospital and the AMK campuses. Parking space. Check-in is effortless thanks to the key box. The beds in the two bedrooms are ready-made and the sofa bed can be used as an extra bed for a third person. In the kitchen cabinets you will find coffee, tea, spices, etc. for our guests. In summer, you can enjoy coffee on your own terrace!

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.

Countryside house at an old finnish farmyard

The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities. The farm hosts a model railway, a farm museum and an organic beekeeping with honey sale. You may book the farm sauna for your own use. Swimming at the lake on demand.
