Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Halls Gap

Robert is a wonderful host, not only was he able to provide us with lots of local knowledge of the area but he also made us feel right at home. Apart from being able to tell us of many local things to do he went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay, even providing a delicious home cooked meal for us. There is a very good pub about 100m up the road with great food and friendly locals. Bobs' house is very clean and comfortable set in the quaint village of Landsborough this is the perfect location to relax and wind down from the busy city life. Bob and his partner (and his lovely dog Molly), are special hosts making you feel comfortable and homely immediately. Highly recommended if you want an invigorating getaway in the country.

We had such a great stay at this house.The place was clean, comfy, and just like the photos. Seeing kangaroos in the yard was such a cool surprise , definitely a highlight! The Grampians were absolutely beautiful, and this was the perfect base to explore the area. The host was super friendly and easy to communicate with. We had a really relaxing time and would love to come back for another holiday. Highly recommend!

We loved Mandy’s place and would happily stay again. Mandy was a very responsive host. A cute miner’s cottage with modern refurb inside. Short drive down to main part of town. Good size bedrooms, comfortable beds with lovely linens, great water pressure in the shower, big couch. The property is on the main road leading into Ararat but we didn’t have any problems sleeping (traffic drops off later in evenings). The driveway is a bit tricky to reverse out of but manageable. Good value for money in our view.

This was our second stay at Craiglea and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Craiglea is a sublimely peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful homestead and surrounds. Craiglea is immaculately presented and Kerry's home made scones and home made apricot jam are simply delicious. We plan to continue to return to Craiglea in future. Just a wonderful find.

It was a beautiful house located in a peaceful neighbourhood. Host was very easy to communicate and friendly with responses. Clear information with details was provided. We had a very smooth check in and out and it was a great stay.

My family and our 2 fur babies stayed at Tess’ place for 2 nights as we headed home from our holidays. It was the perfect place for us. The position is quiet but really close to the Main Street so it was easy to pick up supplies. The house is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you could need. As we had travelled from South Australia we ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lounge room had a comfy couch and chairs and the bedrooms were roomy and the linen lovely. The backyard was great for our dogs being pet safe and partly in the shade. A great bonus was how close the house is to the Wimmera River and walking trails. Overall it was the perfect stop over. We will definitely be back to spend more time there and explore the region.

The Trippypossum House was an excellent stay with all the amenities as described. Conveniently located in Horsham down the road from shops. The house was well stocked with a full kitchen and extra linen/towels - the photos don't do this place justice. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stopover on our road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide Hills. The tiny home had everything we needed for a short stay with our toddler and dog. The property was cozy, clean, and convenient. Would happily stay again!

Magnificent little stay on our way back to Melbourne from Adelaide. Hosts were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. Was great to meet Dale and Katey! Tiny house was clean and comfortable. The rec room was brilliant for my little fella and the communal kitchen was pristine. The backdrop of the Grampians added to the magic. A great experience and would recommend it for a short or extended stay.

During our holiday stay at this fantastic place with my mother, we had a minor issue with the heater. However, Katey and Dale quickly addressed and resolved the problem. Their attentive and efficient service enhanced our experience at this delightful location even more. I’ll highly recommend it and definitely come back.

It maybe tiny but our stay was very comfortable. You’ll have everything you need inside the tiny house. The provided towels and beddings were fresh and crisp. Amenities in the campsite were sufficient and clean. Would love to come back in warmer weather!!

The Grampians National Park is in the area making this an affordable base for day trips. Modern shower was great. Kitchen is small but staff were available to provide items from the Great Western Hotel Motel over the road.

Janet and Marcus’ place was a 10/10. Proactive communication, clear instructions. We really appreciated the local recommendations also. The house was stunning - clean, modern and well appointed - we had everything we needed. Not to mention the view which was something else! The perfect backdrop for a post-hike wine while watching the sunset. It was a fantastic backyard for our kids to play in also. Indoor fireplace was the cherry on top. Walking distance to everything. We couldn’t fault it and would stay again for sure.

A great house set on a quiet leafy street with plenty of parking and privacy. We didn’t even see or hear the family staying in the back house. The kitchen is very good and for fun - the kids loved the fire pit. Just need to remember to bring your own soap/ shampoo, dishwashing tablets and washing powder. Not a biggie.

Brilliant spot backing onto bushland and mountains Place was very clean and modern and in a quiet spot Short walk to the local restaurant was amazing And communication was absolutely top notch, would def book again

The house was beautiful and clean, nice and cool on the hot days with split systems in living area & all bedrooms. Big smart tvs, loaded kitchen with all needed appliances. Outdoor space is gorgeous with kangaroo's coming up to the back door. Will definitely stay again.

Steve was wonderful to communicate with. Very responsive and accomodating. I have stayed here twice now. My dog and I love it! The stars at night, the fire, the comfy bed and cleanliness are so lovely.

We stayed at this lovely home over Easter 2025. The home was easy to find and walking distance to the local restaurants which was great. The home was clean and tidy on our arrival and no unpleasant smells. The bathroom was tidy and clean and grout in good order. I & my family enjoyed our stay and would return to this home in the future.
