Holiday houses in Halfway

We made a last minute change to our trip around Ireland itinerary and ended up in Cobh and it was perfect! The main street has great shops and restaurants and we were right next to the ferry to Spike Island! So glad our plans changed and we landed here - it was PERFECT! Not to mention the amazing view of the church and the water!

As we were arriving at 4am, Denise kindly upgraded us to No 1, because it was easy to access as right next to the car park. The house has been recently refurbished. It had everything we needed, perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, beautiful views. The welcome pack of tea, soda bread and biscuits was very welcome as we were unable to buy supplies on the way as we drove through the night from Dublin airport. The drive was from Dublin was easy, the check in was easy, the house was perfect and our hosts generously allowed us to be relaxed about our check out time too, which was much appreciated. There's a shop and a hotel with restaurant moments away, it's a longer walk into Killarney but doable. It's a very beautiful part of the world. We were visiting relatives nearby so hope to return soon.

What a beautiful place, and what a view! We definitely didn’t stay long enough and if they’ll have us back, we’d like to stay longer next time. Martin & Claire were fantastic hosts and made my family feel so welcome. I really appreciate all the efforts they went to for us and we really loved our stay. We had a wonderful stay at Anne’s over the Easter break. We used Kenmare as our base to explore the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. Anne provided recommendations for places to eat - Helen’s Bar is a must! The house has a beautiful outlook and very spacious inside for our family. Well stocked kitchen and Anne provided milk, bread & butter for our arrival which was a really nice touch

Phil greeted us when we arrived and showed us our place. He gave recommendations for food and live music in town. The views were spectacular, and there were chairs outside to sit and admire the property and views. Very quiet and private. We had a little issue with the dryer, and Phil was immediately responsive and helpful! Would return here if we are back in the area.

A spacious, immaculately clean apartment with everything you could need. Julie left milk, tea bags and a lovely treat which we were grateful for. Have already recommended to family and we would definitely like to stay again.

This place was a home from home for us! We were able to come in and feel right at home, relaxed after a long journey and close to those we’d come to visit. We were 2 adults and 4 kids aged 4-11. They loved this house and garden. They had the safety and freedom to play and enjoy the beautiful day/evening. Ger was wonderful and kept in contact, even coming to visit us to ensure we were happy. Instructions left were clear, and the house is beautiful. We were gutted to leave in our travels. But as my family live near by this place will become a yearly regular!
