Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Haines

This air bnb was perfect! You can tell the owners have put a lot of love into the place, and have truly thought of everything you may need during your stay. Highly recommend and would love to stay again if we are ever in Haines.

The blue heron house was very clean and comfortable, great spot for our trip to Haines. Easy access to town (short drive or longer walk) and ferry. I think I spent most of my time in the reading room sitting in the leather chair just watching the ships come and go, never got old.

I stayed at Jess' place for 6 nights while visiting Haines solo to do some wildlife photography. Jess was very helpful pre-booking to assist me with vital requirements for my visit. She was also very flexible in allowing me to check-in and check-out on my schedule in order to maximize my time in Haines. This added guest service was much appreciated. Regarding the place itself, it was clean, comfortable and well appointed with all necessary supplies and amenities that I required. I ate all meals in-house and had all necessary equipment in order to prepare and cook. The shower was hot and relaxing, the bed was comfortable and the temperature of the space could be easily regulated via a very efficient and responsive heating unit. I experienced a minor issue upon arrival with my Wifi connection but the issue was quickly and effectively resolved after I made Jess aware of it. If my travels take me back to Haines in the future, I will, with no reservations, contact Jess again.

It's a cute little apartment with everything you may need during your stay, with extra access to a common kitchen equipped with washer/dryer if you are into more serious cooking or need to do your laundry. A quick walk to town enjoying the scenery if you don't want to drive. Jax is super responsive to guests' request (even unusual ones), has a bear spray ready to lend you (didn't have to use it though:) plus she is there if you need an extra ride somewhere (like picking you up at the trailhead after a long hike when you can't face your walk back to town:).
