House holiday rentals in Haiku-Pauwela

We had a wonderful week long stay here with the kids and grandparents. The house was spacious and exactly as described in the listing. I really appreciated how responsive Van was the few times we reached out. It was also a big bonus that they had a great selection of beach toys, good quality beach chairs, a boogey board and noodles that we could use. The house was well stocked with everything needed for our stay. The walk to the beach was a bit far for our small kids (all under 5), but it would be an easy walk for big kids and adults.

Beautiful condo in Kihei with every possible amenity to make you feel right at home. Private and peaceful with a pool, beach access. Perfect for getting around to snorkeling which was nearby. Access to stores too. Great place from which to visit Haleakala as well!

Ryan's place was exactly as pictured. The neighborhood and townhouse was very quiet and family friendly. Ryan was very responsive to the small things that can sometimes come up when traveling. Lahaina is still in process of rebuilding but even so there was more than enough to stay busy. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location with beautiful beaches nearby. Not a lot of restaurants around but if you have a car - it’s easy to navigate. The view from the bedroom and living room is brilliant 😍 We really enjoyed the stay. Definitely recommend 🙌🏻

Very beautiful location to stay at in Kaanapali! Has a gym with just enough equipment, grills and pools, and an included private golf cart upon request to the beautiful Kaanapali beaches. Also towel service available until 5:30pm! So wonderful! AC and other amenities were great, did not have a single issue or complaint my entire stay here. Had a great time here, will hopefully be back!!!

We had the best time at the Star Lookout during our short stay in Maui. The private location, and amenities like the spacious hot tub, outdoor shower, and pool (which we never saw anybody else at) were above and beyond what was described. The location on the road to Hana is very convenient and near the twin falls and many other notable stops. The views from the cliff walk are one of a kind and this property is an absolute treasure. The communication from the host and the entire staff / team on property was outstanding and we felt very welcomed and right at home. We won’t be staying anywhere else when we’re on the Island as this place seriously has it all. Thank you for the best Maui experience! :)

Wow! What a place! I’m not the best writer so I’ll keep it short. Jay was great and his place was beautiful. We were there in early March and could see whales breaching, slapping tails and find, and more EVERY morning day and night. Turtles constantly in the ocean near the sea wall. And just overall a fantastic place. You are plenty close to Kaanapali or Kapalu yet remote enough you feel you’re at your own home away from home. Great walkable food options, and just everything was amazing. Bed is SUPER comfortable!! Jay provides everything you need. Thank you Jay, mahalo!

The backyard in this place is so tropical paradise- saltwater pool and hot tub made us not want to leave. It’s just as gorgeous as the photos. No a/c wasn’t a problem for us. Was cool enough at night.

We had the most amazing time. All of the small touches were there, and we were constantly surprised by the high level of service and pride in the property. You cannot beat the view, and the hot tub is awesome! The unit was stocked with the nessesities, as well as delightful extras. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cherry on top was the ducks!! So charming. We cannot wait to come back!

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. Mikes spot was amazing! Spotlessly clean, had anything you can think of (from glass food containers, cooking supplies, filtered water, everything…) and was perfectly located to hop on the road to Hana. It’s walkable to a few cafes but is very private and secluded from the road. We loved hearing the sounds of the toads at night as well as the rooster saying hello in the morning. A perfect place to relax 😎

John’s place was perfect for what we wanted. We didn’t want to stay in a resort, but wanted access to all the island had to offer- this was the spot. Easy to access upcountry, get to the swimmable beaches, watch world Class surfing, good food. Being across the street from the store made grabbing breakfast, poke and sandwiches a breeze. The cottage was clean, quiet, and cozy.

We had a wonderful stay at Maui Paradise Properties! The location is unbeatable and the space is well-lit, roomy, and well-decorated. I loved the open space kitchen and patio. We will definitely come back to Maui Paradise Properties on our next visit!

Dan & Steph’s place was the perfect getaway location for me! It was so close to amazing beaches and restaurants, and the seemingly remote nature or the house made it seem I returned to a private island when I returned!

Great stay in Kihei for a family with a baby. The location is ideal—just a 10-minute walk to the beach, cafes, and restaurants, with a market and food trucks a short drive away. The house is comfortable, featuring a modern kitchen, shared laundry, A/C, and outdoor patio. The backyard is smaller than expected but well-maintained. As other reviews mentioned, even with daily pest control, given the tropical climate pests are expected, especially near the vegetated side yards. Overall, a great stay with a convenient location and well-appointed rooms. Would recommend!

We had a great stay at our “Hawaii” house. We made good use of the covered lanai where we sat and visited while the kids ran around in the yard looking for the rooster and the cat. The daily visit of the geckos was also a highlight. The bedrooms were spacious especially the master which had enough room for two blowup mattresses for the kids. Location was perfect making it easy to get to the Kamaole beaches. We also loved that we could walk to Kalama park. It was also a short drive to the outdoor pool. We swam in the morning and built sand castles in the afternoon. My 5 year old grandson met a playmate at the pool and they arranged a play date at Kamaole 3 in the afternoon. The sand toys were well used. With Foodland so close by, we were able to shop every second day and eat as much poke, pineapples, and papayas as we wanted. We also walked to the food trucks and the South Maui gardens. Deb was very responsive to inquiries and we appreciated that she gave us a late checkout.

We loved Maria’s place! Open plan with lots of space to relax and socialize. We loved having a washer and dryer! The beach chairs were an added bonus. The lanai was my favorite place. It faces due east so we were able to watch the sunrise every day while listening to the birds and drinking our coffee. The beds were very comfortable. A lovely neighborhood within walking distance to town, which we did every day. I highly recommend this lovely home!

Our stay in Hāna was truly unforgettable, and Lily and Gray were the most gracious and welcoming hosts. Their home is a serene paradise—perched with an incredible ocean view that made every moment feel magical. The open-concept design and stunning wrap-around deck were absolute highlights, letting us soak in the beauty of Hāna from every angle, whether we were sipping coffee in the morning or stargazing at night. Adding to the charm were two gentle horses grazing nearby, which brought such a peaceful, grounding energy to the property. It was the perfect place to relax, disconnect, and just breathe. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape surrounded by nature’s beauty, this is it. We can’t wait to return and experience it all over again. What can you say about perfection in paradise? I was so happy we decided to spend some time IN Hans this trip (instead of just driving there and back to the more populous areas). The house and the grounds were so peaceful. The fruit trees and gardens were so fun to take in and watch the birds. The sweeping ocean views were even better than expected. The house itself is very well appointed, very comfortable and really gorgeous. Fresh tropical flowers throughout the home was such a nice touch. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to get back there! It was so very hard to leave!

Todd was great to work with for our stay on Maui. He was very accommodating and allowed my family and I to check in early so we could make a whale watching tour later in the day. His place was close to a couple different restaurants that could be walked to, which was great in not having to fight for parking. The place was cozy and perfect for a slow morning before being out exploring the island for the day. He clearly communicated all the instructions for check in and check out, which made the rental process really easy.

We were very comfortable in the house and loved the yard with flowering trees. We appreciated the convenience of the washer and dryer, beach gear, and 5 minute drive to the store, food trucks and Wamoa Beach. It was easy to find everything we needed, and there are lots of fans and breezes to make up for no air conditioning. Hosts were responsive and helpful. We’d definitely stay again!

I had a great stay at Mike and Ashley’s condo — it was cozy, clean, and in a perfect location

This was a fantastic place to spend our week in Maui. The condo was amazing and spacious with all the amenities you would need to enjoy your time. The location is perfect, relatively close to the airport and well situated next to route 30 so you could go everywhere on the island quite easily. The view from the condo is second to none, from the patio you can easily see the Haleakalā mountain and from the front door is a great sight of the western Maui mountains. And on top of everything this condo was much more peaceful than the huge resort areas. There were not too many people around, and even when we did go to the beach we were able to find a spot easily. I’d recommend this condo for anyone who wants to spend a week or a few days in Maui - the price is quite good compared to the normal resorts, you get a great view and anything you don’t pick up on your way from the airport you can grab on a 20 minute drive to Kihei. This place was perfect for us.

We are so grateful to have found Mana House! This place is truly magical. We loved the peaceful beauty of the house and surrounding area. It’s very private and there was always a nice breeze that kept things cool. The sound of the birds and the laughing goats added an extra “mood elevator” as Tom puts it! Highly, highly recommend staying here!
