Nice and clean cottage on the river of a lake, with a beautiful view from the porch. Everything was great, nice spots for swimming nearby. I would just suggest to improve the instructions for the waste sorting in English.

A great setting for a getaway with a larger group. The kitchen is well-stocked and dishes and other high-quality dishes. Peaceful location and lovely scenery! The spa department was especially pleasant, but the large hallway also collected compliments, especially in the winter, when there are all kinds of stuff 😄

Excellent value for money. Everything you need is for cooking in the kitchen, and always nicely set of linens and towels on the bed to be waiting. The sauna and bathroom were renovated and were great. The place has plenty of privacy, and the peaceful surroundings are otherwise. Check-in is also easy and reliable. Messaging with Riku is quick. I highly recommend the place.

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

The apartment was clean and the yard was very beautiful. It's a good idea for families with children or dogs to be aware that the road runs in the immediate vicinity of the house.
