Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Pepper Tree Farm is a peaceful, private country retreat nestled between the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley — perfectly positioned for a relaxed escape.

Enjoy a slow start with local breakfast provisions before exploring nearby wineries, scenic drives, and charming towns.

With spacious, self-contained living and tranquil outdoor areas, it’s an ideal place to unwind — from long lunches under the vines to cosy evenings by the fire.

The space
Pepper Tree Farm sits on a quiet rural road, offering a peaceful, private setting surrounded by gardens, trees and natural bushland. The property spans 10 acres, with generous space to relax both indoors and out.

The self-contained ground floor is beautifully presented, combining contemporary comfort with a homely feel. Guests have a cosy wood fire, comfortable queen bed, full kitchen and light-filled living spaces — often described as spotless, well-equipped and a true home away from home.

Outside, you can unwind under the pergola, enjoy a coffee overlooking the gardens, or settle in with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the paddocks. Many guests describe the setting as peaceful, private and “idyllic”.

On arrival, you’ll find a generous welcome hamper including a bottle of wine from Kersbrook Hill Wines & Cider, along with freshly baked bread, cheese, and sweet treats. Combined with breakfast provisions and pantry staples, it’s designed so you can settle in and feel spoilt from the moment you arrive.

The property is home to a small number of friendly animals, including dogs, miniature goats, a donkey, sheep and chickens. You may see them around the paddocks, but interaction is entirely optional.

In cooler months, the wood fire, electric blanket and cosy furnishings make it a perfect winter escape. In warmer weather, shaded outdoor areas, air conditioning and evening breezes keep things comfortable.

You’ll wake to magpies and spot blue wrens in the garden, with galahs, rosellas and cockatoos visiting throughout the day — a gentle reminder that you’re truly in the country.

Guest access
Guests (and their dog/s) have private use of the entire ground floor, which is fully self-contained and separate from the upper level.

This includes exclusive access to the living and dining areas, full kitchen, queen bedroom, bathroom, laundry and toilet.

Outside, you’ll enjoy multiple fully fenced garden and paddock areas (approx. 4 acres), offering plenty of space to relax or for dogs to explore safely.

Featuring completely independent access, the home has been designed to feel like your own private country stay.

I live upstairs with my dogs and respect your privacy — you’ll rarely see or hear us. I’m always available if needed, or happy to say hello if you feel like a chat.

Other things to note
Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome. To ensure a relaxed stay for everyone, I ask that dogs are friendly and comfortable in a new environment.

Dogs are generally kept separate, though interaction can be arranged if all are happy and safely introduced.

Please share a little about your dog/s when booking so I can ensure the best setup for your stay.

If you’re planning day trips, I may be able to assist with looking after your dog — just check in advance so we can confirm availability.
