Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Set amongst the rolling, gum-studded hills of Kersbrook, just 45 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, Pepper Tree Farm is a spacious, private rural retreat perfectly positioned between the Adelaide Hills and Barossa.

Wake slowly with generous local breakfast provisions before discovering nearby wineries, scenic drives and charming country towns.

With fully self-contained living, peaceful outdoor spaces and a cosy fire in winter, it's a place to truly switch off and unwind, with room to breathe.

The space
Pepper Tree Farm sits on a quiet rural road in Kersbrook, surrounded by gardens, gum trees and natural bushland. Set on 10 acres, it offers a peaceful, private base for slowing down, enjoying the quiet and making the most of the space both indoors and out.

The fully self-contained ground floor is spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared for your stay. Guests have a queen bedroom, full kitchen, light-filled living areas, cosy wood fire, reverse-cycle heating and cooling, and everything needed for an easy country escape. Reviews often describe the space as beautifully presented, well-equipped and welcoming.

Outside, you can enjoy coffee under the pergola, wander through the garden areas, watch the paddocks change with the light, or settle in with a glass of local wine as the sun goes down. It’s quiet, relaxed and private, with plenty of room to properly switch off.

On arrival, you’ll find a generous welcome basket with a bottle of Kersbrook Hill wine, freshly baked bread, cheese, biscuits and sweet treats. For the mornings, breakfast provisions include local bacon, free-range eggs, fresh juice and plenty of extras — from pancake mix and maple syrup to baked beans and pantry staples.

The property is home to a small number of friendly animals, including dogs, a pony, donkey, miniature goats, sheep and chickens. You may see them around the paddocks during your stay, but interaction is entirely optional.

In cooler months, the wood fire, electric blanket and cosy furnishings make Pepper Tree Farm a lovely winter escape. In warmer weather, shaded outdoor areas, air conditioning and evening breezes keep things comfortable.

You’ll wake to magpies and may spot blue wrens in the garden, with galahs, rosellas and cockatoos visiting throughout the day. It’s a gentle reminder that you’re in the country, just 45 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and within easy reach of both the Adelaide Hills and Barossa.

Guest access
Guests have private use of the entire ground floor, which is fully self-contained and separate from the upper level.

This includes exclusive access to the living and dining areas, full kitchen, queen bedroom, bathroom, laundry and toilet.

Outside, you’ll have access to multiple fully fenced garden and paddock areas, covering approximately 4 acres — plenty of space to relax, enjoy the setting or, if travelling with dogs, allow them to explore securely.

With completely independent access, the guest accommodation is designed to feel like your own private country stay.

I live on the upper level with my dogs, so I’m nearby if needed, but the guest spaces are private and separate. I’ll respect your privacy throughout your stay, and I’m always happy to say hello or help with anything if you need me.

Other things to note
Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome. To ensure a relaxed stay for everyone, I ask that dogs are friendly and comfortable in new environments.

Dogs are generally kept separate and any introductions managed carefully to ensure both your & my dogs are happy.

Please share a little about your dog/s when booking so I can ensure the best setup for your stay.

If you’re planning day trips, I may be able to assist with looking after your dog — just check in advance so I can confirm availability. We can discuss the specifics of how caring for your dog would look best when you arrive.
