The space
Experience a fully self-contained cabin (aka "hut") with a key lockbox for easy check-in, nestled on a picturesque hobby farm. Enjoy these features:
• Unique Design: An industrial aesthetic crafted with distinctive materials.
• Luxurious King Bed: Rest on a pillow-top mattress with premium bamboo cotton sheets and a 100% French flax linen duvet cover.
• Open Bathroom: Indulge in a spacious round bathtub and dual shower, with linen bathrobes provided for your comfort.
• Fully Equipped Kitchen: Everything you need—fridge, freezer section, gas cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, and blender.
• Fresh Breakfast: Relish eggs from our chickens and seasonal vegetables from our veggie patches, alongside other locally sourced ingredients. Complimentary tea and coffee are always available.
• Large Deck: Relax in the hanging double egg chair or enjoy a sunrise breakfast on the outdoor setting.
• Versatile Servery: An in-and-outdoor servery that opens to both the deck and living area, creating warmth and coziness in cooler months or a refreshing breeze during warmer seasons.
• Cosy Living Space: Sink into a leather sofa with a smart TV (including Netflix), Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker, books, and games.
• Outdoor Area: Enjoy romantic lighting, a fire pit for intimate evenings, and a selection of outdoor games for your entertainment.
• Farm & Wildlife Views: Take in the stunning Bremer Valley from picturesque sliding doors and windows, watching our cows and sheep grazing nearby. You can also spot cow herds in the distance, along with kangaroos and a variety of birds.
Guest access
Guests will have full access to the hut and its surrounding fenced area, ensuring complete privacy during your stay. We also live on the property and do our best to respect your privacy while being available if you need assistance. Please note that there is a shared driveway leading to the cabin, but once you arrive, the space is entirely yours to enjoy.

Please note that the provisions are thoughtfully tailored to the length of your stay, with slight variations for 1-night, 2-night, and 3+ night bookings.
Hollows Hut is located on a hobby farm, and our neighbouring properties may occasionally use farming equipment for cattle management or other tasks. These activities are rare and usually brief, allowing you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of your stay.
Feel free to touch our cows and sheep (if they let you:) but please do not feed them. And if you meet our cats, Zazu and Kira, they may love a pat but are not allowed inside the cabin.
In Mount Torrens, the fire season runs from May to November, though it can vary slightly each year. If it’s the right season, we’ll have wood ready for you next to our outdoor fire pit.
