Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Guysborough County

My family and I had a great stay at Laura's Landing. The place was so clean and we loved the layout of the house. We had everything we needed and enjoyed BBQing on the deck and taking a short walk down to the beach. The beds and linens were also really comfortable,clean and "hotel quality." If we're back in the area, we would definitely consider booking there again. One thing to note was that the hot water wasn't quite hot enough and shower pressure not strong enough for my liking but otherwise, absolutely no complaints! Thanks Daphne 😊

We had an amazing stay at Quarry Cove! The home had absolutely everything we could possibly need — from a fully stocked kitchen to tons of indoor and outdoor games and activities for the kids. It was perfect for our family girls’ trip. The place was spotless, and the wraparound veranda offered a beautiful view that we never got tired of. The hot tub was clean and such a treat at the end of the day. Adrienne was incredibly friendly and helpful — even went out of their way to help us get the hockey playoff game on TV, which was such a nice touch! We felt completely at home and well taken care of. Highly recommend Quarry Cove for anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway!

Marina’s place was beautiful and located in a very peaceful area. The house is very spacious, comfortable, clean, very well equipped and the large yard is fenced which was great for the dog.The welcome basket of goodies was so thoughtful Thank you. . We enjoy looking out on the ocean and seeing lobster boats, seals ,dolphins and a whale. The view and the sunsets were amazing. Marina kindly allowed us to have guests for a night and this reunion with our friends meant so much to us. Be prepared the nearby town is small but we got everything we needed in the little grocery store. (Everyone in town was so friendly) It is not a tourist area which worked well for us because we were not expecting restaurants or attractions just a relaxing place to look at the ocean. This place was exactly what we needed during a weekend of hockey. Very clean, comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen. The hot tub was very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. This is a must book for the area.

This place is amazing! It has everything you could possibly need and so many cute little details! Ashley was so nice and introduced us to all of her goats across the street. It was by far the best place I’ve ever stayed in! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, 3 nights wasn’t long enough. Hoping to come back again soon😊

Absolutely stunning! The space, both inside and out is well thought out and so peaceful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Truly a little piece of paradise, perfect spot to unwind and watch the herons fly by!

This house suited us perfectly. We appreciated its elderly charm, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, colorful art, wood stove, and — of course — that view. We enjoyed a couple of hikes and braved the tidal crossing once (COLD), but mostly we stayed put and read, cooked, and watched the changing light and water movement by the hour. The peacefulness was heavenly. Bonus points for an excellent selection of contemporary fiction.

I stayed here last year and loved it so much that I made sure to book early in order to stay there again this year. I had a week-long event at the university and this location is an easy walk to it. The space is lovely, well outfitted, and spacious. I suppose my one wish is that the shower had a handheld showerhead.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay. Hosts were very friendly and responsive but also very respectful- we weren't bothered at all, but knew we could message them if needed. Such a cute place, I recommend staying there and am considering revisiting!!

Nice spot to stay in the heart of the city. Check-in was smooth and Michelle was a great host and easy to communicate with.

Great spot to stay. In town for work- good location, close to the hospital and town. Not the most sound proof from the family/kids upstairs but it’s great other than that! Would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot to stay.

The space was great and very nicely decorated, I wish I wasn't there for work and had a chance to enjoy the space more!

Donna's place was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well supplied for making meals. I also appreciated the ample parking (two full-sized pick-up trucks fit easily) and proximity to great places to eat (I was sometimes too tired to use the fine kitchen)! Donna made the stay easy and convenient - thanks!
