Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Guilford

This was a truly beautiful home that was perfect for our week along the coast of Connecticut. The home was impeccably clean and setup with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. Set in a peaceful area north of Niantic, it was a perfect place for my family and I to head out to many coastal adventures. We had close access to Mystic and New Haven with a short road trip to Newport. Jason and Colleen were wonderful hosts and have setup their place amazingly easy to get in and utilize. From the available bikes in the basement to the games my kids quickly found to play, this was a perfect place for us this week. Highly recommend to others looking for a great CT coastline getaway!

Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

Great place to stay clean and close to the event we went to… they were helpful and allowed us to stay 1 hr longer for our convenience… there was only one TV in the house so if you have kids make sure they have their tablets or they will control the one TV other than that it was enough space for us…. Thanks

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Mark’s Airbnb! The home is newly remodeled with beautiful furnishings and all of the beds were very comfortable. Our daughter was graduating from college so we chose to stay in an Airbnb over a hotel so my in-laws could stay with us as well. It worked out perfect and we especially loved the kitchen.

Very nice house with lots of room to relax and a well-stocked kitchen to cook. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to so much! When we had a question, Ellen answered with a call within minutes. She was the perfect host!

Our family opted for a trip to New London to reconnect with our family for Thanksgiving. We were able to utilize the beautiful dining room for our dinner . We loved staying at Rosa’s place and were very comfortable . Just a note - there is only one bathroom and it is on the second floor ( as are all the bedrooms) We made this work but can be difficult with a larger family . It would definitely not deter me from booking again! This place was beautiful. The surrounding area and ease of access was comforting ! Would definitely stay here again .

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful sunset comes right into the upstairs bedroom and balcony for views. Back deck is right on waters edge. It’s the perfect spot to get away from the noise. Kayaks for the lake were awesome. Definitely going to make this a permanent getaway! Thank you Josh for everything! See you soon!

Our stay at the Boathouse was just what we needed, a quiet retreat with a comfortable bed, all the amenities we could ask for. A warm welcome from Curran, and attentive to our needs and comfort. We will likely return to the Boathouse on our return visits to visit family in the area.

Bert and Nancy's place was way above our expectations. Bert greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour. The property was beautiful, peaceful and serene. The inside was exactly the way it was pictured. The inside had a Zen feel. The inside was clean, spacious and everything you would need was there and available. Cute little touches were added throughout the room that were cute. I loved the light up birch tree. We didn't get a chance to walk the nature trail and wish we had. I am sure though it was beautiful. Bert had great communication. If you are looking for a retreat type place to get away this is your place. It was relaxing and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

As usual, I so much enjoyed my stay. Molly was hard at work in her beautiful flower garden, which are lovely to see first thing in the morning. I'll be back, for sure.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

Radim's place is cozy, peaceful and spacious! The apartment overlooks and has access to a beautiful backyard area with a spot for the morning coffee. Radim is a helpful, friendly, and easy-going host. We had a lovely time and would recommend his place two thumbs up!

I chose Marlene’s lovely spot primarily because it was in a location convenient for short trips to visit family and friends in Wallingford, Middlebury and Middletown while on my way south from New Hampshire. The peaceful, quiet surroundings along with a spotless, well-appointed accommodation made it very appealing: highly recommended.

Marilyn was wonderful! The home was so cozy and we enjoyed it. She was very kind, gave great recommendations and always answered promptly. There are beautiful trails to walk and a fire pit!! One of my favorite places I have stayed. I highly recommend if you want a peaceful and cozy stay.

Our family of four had a wonderful winter weekend at Erma’s house. The house was comfortable, even during a winter storm. Erma made sure to have the driveway plowed, so we could still enjoy a day of skiing. And the sunset views were beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely and Rustic for sure. A bit of a hike 10-15 minutes up to it. Bed is comfy too.

Super cute interior. Just like the photos. Absolutely pristine, and phenomenal mattresses. Slept incredibly well. GREAT hot tub and fire pit. Very close to the boat launch. So appreciated access to the kayaks and all the hiking recommendations.

We had a fabulous time! Can't wait to come back. Was equally perfect for two toddlers as it was for four adults! Beautiful property, amazing hot tub, comfortable beds, great kitchen... everything was lovely.

A wonderful spot and wonderful host. Everything was cheery and thoughtfully done. I knocked off a star for the price mostly because I wasn't anticipating how expensive it is to get around by Uber in the area, and to find an accessible grocery store - otherwise necessary to have a car. Ended up ordering UberEats... my mom was at another Airbnb down the road and the difference in how we were treated as guests was astronomical. Marina did not charge me for having my little dog, there was a little firewood for us to use, fresh coffee and tea, and all the amenities! Marina was also very responsive and kind, and left a very helpful note about whether the beach is public or not. 100% recommend. In contrast, my mom felt badly treated by the host, the place was poorly kept and she felt it was way overpriced in comparison to mine (Marina's). Good thing she was able to come here during the day, and we spent most of our time here, in the yard or the short walk to the beach.

I cannot recommend this Airbnb cabin enough! From start to finish, our experience was absolutely delightful. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cabin itself was the perfect blend of cozy and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The amenities were outstanding – everything we needed was provided, and everything worked perfectly. Whether it was the well-equipped kitchen, the snug living area, or the super comfortable bed, every aspect of the cabin exceeded our expectations. Very unique and beautiful home. We enjoyed the peacefulness and privacy of the location. We had a great time exploring all of the small nearby towns. If you're into nature-based activities, there are a ton of hiking trails and sight-seeing venues. Ana was very proactive in reaching out and made us feel very welcomed, assuring us if there were any issues to reach out. Overall, a fantastic experience!
