The Black Warrior Spot is in a prime location next to the main road into town. This is my second home and it's well kept for this main reason with a home feeling for a nice rest and relax time to continue your journey. Walking distance to the market and local stores. Private home with gated parking very secure. Laundry mat across the street. This is a windy, dusty and humid city we try our best to have it clean from dust. Pets welcomed for an additional cleaning fee.

Great spot to spend the night. The apartment is just as described. Though small and simple, felt like home. Will definitely stay here if I’m ever in the area. Oh, and there’s a small dog outside that is so friendly and welcoming. Made our stay more enjoyable.

This house is amazing w/all kinds of whaling information, bones, artifacts, gem pieces. The building is structurally unique w/big thick wood pieces that look like they were made for ship building. Really a special space. Be aware it’s a hike up 2 sets of stairs to reach main floor but we’ll worth the haul. Space is made for early raiser as church across the street has bell ringer starting at 5:00 & every 15 minutes after that. Still very much worth the experience. Great Breakfast made by Caroline!!!
