What a fun trip! We so enjoyed this home in Clear Lake! We spent long days reading books, catching up, playing games, going to the pool, admiring the view and spending the evenings bbq'ing on the deck followed by admiring the crazy amount of stars above. Having grown up going to Clear Lake as a child I know what to expect of the area and I was impressed with Alex's home. Alex's home was as described, just the right amount of charm with modern updates that serve well (including the nicest towels and most comfortable bed i've had an AirBnB)! Before we left, we were already talking about coming back! Pro tip, with the big beautiful windows, close the blinds before going to bed. The front gets hot by the time you wake up! We thought leaving the doors open would cool down the house but learned the hard way!

Amazing retreat in the Redwoods - the property is quiet, has beautiful views of the redwoods with both outdoor sun and shade spots, and has a cool interior. Pool was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. I would stay again! We stayed in May, and while the yard was mowed, it had a type of grass that was very prickly so not barefoot or dog friendly - so we weren’t fully able to enjoy the expansive yard space.

My husband Josh and I had an unforgettable time at Cindi’s place in Sea Ranch. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—unique architecture, cozy design, and right on the beach. Every evening we watched the waves crash on the rocks just outside the window. It was peaceful, stunning, and truly magical. Cindi was a fantastic host, super helpful and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Anu’s house in the Sea Ranch was perfect for our group. So easy to walk to the bluff trail, well equipped kitchen and gorgeous views of the stars from the hot tub and decks at night. We also really enjoyed the ocean view from the master bedroom and sitting in the sun on the front deck.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay during our time on the coast. This home is absolutely incredible-- breathtaking views, gorgeous decor, large kitchen with ample cookware, amazing deck, CLEAN, comfortable beds, fantastic location. Sea Ranch itself is a wonderful place for those seeking a quiet & peaceful area surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty. Pauline is an excellent host with great communication who went above & beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend Seaward Bliss, and I can't wait to return again one day!

Came back for a second stay, and was as wonderful and peaceful as we remembered it to be. The home is an incredible retreat - great views, and everything we needed for a relaxing two days away from the city. Appliances are top notch, and everything is thoughtfully laid out. Carolyn is a very thoughtful host, and quickly answered questions we had. Would recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we would love to be back again in the future!

Wonderful space for 5 friends, a dog and a baby! Gorgeous ocean view, right next to trails, and close to town. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking on nights in. Main bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the sofa bed easily accommodated a single person. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely Stunning Stay! This stay was truly memorable. The views were unreal — panoramic ocean vistas and the most breathtaking sunsets right from the property. Every evening felt like a postcard moment. The space was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. What made the stay even better was the host — incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our visit. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Peaceful. It was great to be right on the cliffs and hear the ocean and birds, on the patio or in the hot tub. Well appointed house with lots of space indoor and outdoor.

We had a great stay! It was nice to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and the gym. We had a large group, and the hose fit a family of 12 easily! The hot tub was nice, listening to the ocean waves crashing into the rocks was awesome. The place is quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. The short walks to the grocery stores, restaurants, cafe was great.

We had a wonderful time at your house! It is super pretty, comfortable and the windows and views were the best! Soooo nice! We also loved all your books :) One of us was on a working trip, rather than a hiking trip, and your lovely home helped make staying behind the best that could be! We truly enjoyed our stay at John’s place. The loft house is lovely and had everything we needed. The fireplace was a great bonus. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful—redwoods, ocean views, and a sky full of stars at night. We took the scenic Highway 128 route that John recommended from the Bay Area. We loved it so much that we took it again on the way back. John was kind and responsive. When there was a power outage during our stay, he came over promptly to start the generator for us. We’ll definitely book John’s place again the next time we visit Mendocino and Fort Bragg.

This beautiful cabin was perfect for our weekend stay in Gualala! Beautiful property, a great kitchen for cooking, close to so many hikes and views, lots of fun board games and DVDs for cozying up at night.

Had a wonderful stay at Danielle’s place. It is such a comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature! Wonderful beaches and parks nearby, and just a couple minutes away from all the stores and restaurants in Gualala. The house had absolutely everything we needed, it’s clear that Danielle took care of every detail. The host was very accommodating and easy to reach. Would love to come back!

We love that the home was secluded and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The home’s interior furnishings and the remodeled kitchen was tasteful. We especially liked the large windows to see nature (unfortunately we only saw one wood pecker and didn’t see any other cute critters or signs of big foot!). Although secluded close to amenities and restaurants. Plenty of towels, blankets and comfortable pillows. We are looking forward to going back. Norm and Karen

This place is such a hidden gem! Incredibly private, quiet, peaceful, and has tons of amenities (hot tub, grill, rain shower, full kitchen including spices and endless appliances and cooking tools). We loved using the hot tub under the redwoods, it was super roomy for four people. The photos don’t really do the deck justice, you are totally surrounded by gorgeous trees and looking down onto a fern covered creek. Five minute walk to town where we got coffee every morning at the super cute coffee shop, also a great little store that has everything you need. Really great price for three bedrooms, would love to come back!! We’ve stayed at multiple airbnbs and resorts in the area and this is by far one of the best values.

Insel Island is the perfect place to stay in Sea Ranch. It was peaceful and very appealing aesthetically — just like it was described and pictured. Grace and Samantha were very proactive and clear with their instructions and guidance. We enjoyed our holiday weekend here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well maintained, beautiful, private home in the area.

A Perfect Beachfront Getaway! This stay was everything I hoped for and more! The location is absolutely stunning — right on the beach, with breathtaking views and the sound of waves to wake up to. It instantly felt like home the moment we walked in. The cozy beach-themed décor, charming collectibles, and thoughtful touches made it extra special. The garden is lovely, full of life with chirpy birds and lush greenery, creating the perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening wind-down. We especially enjoyed sky watching in the evenings — the colors were just magical. The space had everything we needed for a comfortable stay as a family. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were spotless and cozy, and the jacuzzi was the cherry on top — so relaxing! I truly felt like this was my own special home away from home. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat! Kudos to the host for managing this home with great character

We stayed for the weekend and spent most of the time just in awe of the view from this house. Being able to hot tub on the top of the cliff was the highlight. The house had everything we needed. This is not a pristine house that’s just been redone (as you can tell from the photos) but it’s clean, very comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. We especially appreciated all the games and puzzles for when we could take our eyes off of the view. Highly recommend this house if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing time to rest your mind and be cozy! Oh and you may hear the sea lions chatting away which we loved! Arf, arf!

This beautiful home is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by trees and deer. We loved the home so much that we barely left. The home itself is spotless, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing. The beds and their sheets are comfy. The bathrooms are clean and fully stocked. The kitchen has everything you need and more. And the decor is beautiful and unique. Definitely one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve every stayed at. I highly recommend it. I hope to be back one day.

Bret and Phil were excellent hosts that had thought of everything a guest would need for a great getaway. The beautiful “Treehouse” is modern and charming with every amenity provided, to make it feel like a home away from home. Nestled amongst the Redwoods, the backyard is private and beautiful. The deck has plenty of comfortable chairs and is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing! The kitchen is well appointed and stocked. Fantastic coffee selection and barista style syrup station- What more could one ask for?! But wait, there’s more! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. We did indulge in some late evening s’mores. Close to the shops in Mendo and within a 20 min drive to multiple locations like the Skunk Train, Botanical Garden and Glass Beach. Overall, I’d score them a 10 out of 5!! Can’t wait to return someday.

Our stay in this beautiful home was just a delight! The trees are magnificent and every window looks like a moving postcard! The space is relaxing and comfortable. The fireplace was beautiful to enjoy and the private hot tub on the deck is perfect! We would absolutely return!

Samantha's place was gorgeous, and exactly as described. It was a great escape to relax and get some thinking/planning done. We got super lucky with the weather and really enjoyed taking in the scenery.
