The host was very kind. He picked me up from the airport and was very kind to help me when I asked for help during my stay. It's a pity that I didn't learn more Portuguese, so I didn't get to know the host better.

100% recommend this place to explore the north side of the island. Very nice spacious cabin with amazing view and surroundings. Restaurant very good aswell. We loved our stay and will definitely come back next time.

The accommodation at Rui's is fantastic. It is a bit remote, about 1 km from the nearest paved road. It is secluded on a black beach. We especially enjoyed Bellyboarding and the indescribably beautiful nature and wildlife around us was also nice to explore. Rui is an excellent chef and he does not hesitate to support you with any problem or project. Thank you for the great time.
