Built in wood with extensive reuse of material. In Jårheim close by is fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with toilet. You can enjoy the view on hills, reading books from the second flor library.

Gammelbua on Stavøy

It's origins hidden in the unknown of history, this compact and cozy cabin was purposed as a post office and general store from the 1870s. Several details from this era have been kept, like its' original timber walls and ceiling. The cabin is on our beautiful Island og Stavøy, with lots of options for outdoors activities and in particular, fishing. If you are lucky, you might even be a part of the traditional wild salmon fishing every summer. Welcome!

Our apartment is located on Beian in Ørland municipality. It is part of an apartment complex and we live in the complex ourselves. In the immediate vicinity is a great sandy beach, and nice hiking opportunities on foot or by bike. We also rent out a boat (40hp/19ft) and a 9 seat car for extra payment.
