Welcome to our guesthouse at Namsenfjorden We are glad that people are enjoying their time on our farm. They give feedback that they are finding peace and that the place has a lot to offer. In the guesthouse it is nice to just be or you can walk in the forest, on the mountain, along the country road or explore the sea life (boat/canoe/kayak) and try your luck at fishing. The guesthouse is small and cosy. Suitable for those traveling alone, but also for family/group, see photo for sleeping places. The house is disposed of alone. Pets are allowed.

Cozy cabin located close to the water

Newly renovated small cabin, in a small quiet cabin field. The cabin has lovely views of the island water, where it offers trout, sea trout, char and salmon. Flytebrygge is located just below the cabin. Bicycle trail right outside the cabin in the summer, ski slope(occasionally) in the winter. Great area for mountain hikes, and hunting. One of Høylandet's finest beaches, Svortstranda is about 800 meters further away, popular for the children. Free access to shared sauna which is also close to the cabin. Canoe is included in rent

Mirror suite with its own sauna

The Mirror Suite offers a stay close to nature and with an amazing view. Suite because it contains everything you need for a good stay, and more than that. The mirror suite has mirror function in two walls. You can look out but no one can see in. Not even the deer, birds, fox or moose wandering by. You live centrally, not far from shop and people, but still all to yourself. Lovely bathroom with shower and hot water. Private wood-fired sauna in a nearby house. The atmosphere can be nothing but good.

Great log cabin with nice location in Grong ski center. Nice view, good lights/sun conditions. Ski in/out. Nice prepared ski slopes and marked hiking trails. Very nice year-round hiking areas in the immediate vicinity. Fishing opportunities in the salmon river and swimming facilities Tømmeråsfossen waterfall. Nice area for berry picking. 10 min to Grong center. 50 min to Namskogan family park.

New apartment with great kitchen and bathroom. Heating cables in all floors and wood burning in addition. Great hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Private patio, and your own entrance. Possibility of sleeping space for 3. Lovely view of Namsen and Spillumsfjellet. It is about 15-20 min walk to Namsos city center. To the nearest grocery store, it is about 5 minutes to walk.

Cozy guest apartment by river

Enjoy your time at our small farm in the countryside. Sitting in the gap to look at the river, or take a paddle with the canoe that we lend. Active wildlife with birds, moose, roe deer and beaver. In addition, we have chickens and dogs on the farm. Only 10 kilometers from the center of Namso, so even though it is a rural setting, it is a short distance to the city.

Very cozy cottage in a cottage village by a ski system. We had been out hiking for three nights and slept in tents and longed for a warm shower and a bed to sleep in and we felt so good in this cottage. A modern but cozy cottage with the amenities you might need. Nice surroundings too.

Lena’s place was a great place to stay on Otterøya. The view from the deck and living room is stunning. The bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen are all well equipped. The place is as pictured and feels like a nice vacation cabin. There are grocery stores in town about 20 minutes drive to Namsos. Many hikes and other views to see on Otterøya.

A very welcoming apartment with a warm and welcome atmosphere. The location is excellent, with easy access to the ski resort. The apartment was perfect for our family with children, with good solutions and a safe atmosphere. Communication with the landlord was smooth and efficient, which made the entire stay hassle-free. Would love to come back. Would recommend!

My wife and I had a great stay. Catherine’s place is very unique; it is an older home that appealed to us because of its history and charm. A huge sitting area, large kitchen, a back porch with nice patio furniture that looks out over the river. And 3 bedrooms upstairs. The house is a mixture of old and new. I especially liked the 3 old parchment type maps that hang from the walls. They mostly date from the 1930s and are fascinating. It does have some very steep stairs that have to be negotiated to get to your bedroom, so make sure you would be comfortable with that. Also, about a 15-20 minute walk to town center where I believe I counted 3 grocery stores. Train station maybe 5-10 minute walk.
