Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Pip's Hideaway is our gorgeous 1 bedroom pet friendly holiday cottage situated on our family-run livestock farm, in the hamlet of Selside, close to Kendal and the Lake District. It was lovingly created from an old farm building in 2012 to a high standard keeping traditional features. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. (A car is highly recommended) We are 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere , 11 miles from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick.

Minimum booking of TWO NIGHTS. Extension to existing bungalow, consisting of sitting/dining area, kitchen, bedroom (superking bed) and bathroom. Wonderful views over countryside to Smardale viaduct on the Settle to Carlisle railway. Smardale nature reserve is 100 meters away, with opportunity to see red squirrels, deer and rare Scotch Argus butterflies. Dark sky designated area. No children on bookings without prior agreement.
