Spectacular! Great amenities. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boat with on site boat ramp. Floating dock. Close to Elkton town center if you need to grab some groceries or want to grab a beer at the local brewery!

Taki's place was perfect for a group of 13. There is plenty of space to spread out in the various houses and outdoor spaces on the property. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for a chilly weekend! The main house was also a great space for all of us to share meals. We also had a great time taking walks around the area - would definitely recommend and book again!

Beautiful home with picturesque view. We vacationed for a week with another family. The home was spacious and clean. Our families like to cook and we were all impressed with the amount and quality of kitchen equipment available. We had a minor ac problem but Clayton was very responsive and had a tech to fix the issue out right away. A tip for families with little children, there are no blinds/curtains in the upstairs bedrooms so they are very bright during the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The property was perfect. Plenty of space for my entire family of 9. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The grill is nice and in a good place pretty close to the kitchen too. The neighborhood is super quiet and private. There’s food options and stores nearby just a short drive out of the neighborhood. The hot tub was clean. Just a great stay overall. And Thank you Lisa for having us and being communicative and helpful throughout booking and the Stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Our family of six (two parents and four kids aged 9 to 12) made incredible memories here. The property was perfect for an active family getaway with plenty of space to spread out and tons to do right on-site. The kids practically lived in the game room and hot tub, and evenings around the firepit were a highlight for all of us. We loved the 4 square volleyball setup which was great for friendly family competition! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also explored two nearby bike trails and a local hiking trail, all easy drives and absolutely worth it. The combination of outdoor adventure and cozy home amenities made this a trip we’ll be talking about for a long time. Highly recommend for any family looking for a fun and active retreat!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The house was spacious and my kids loved the foosball and air hockey tables - and I loved that they were on the lower level with a door at the stairs. Beds were comfortable with extra blankets available. We loved being next to the river and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! This was a relaxing home base for exploring the area and going to places like Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. Gary was a responsive and helpful host!

Kervin was a fabulous host. we visited the area for my son's graduation and had a great time. The home is beautiful and the surroundings are very peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

We rented the house and barn for my son’s wedding. It was perfect to accommodate us for the big day. Allison was so helpful and response to our needs. Will definitely be back!!

This place is heaven on Earth! The house is gorgeous and it’s full of details that make it extremely cozy. Jack is a wonderful host! Be prepared for a very friendly man, always willing to socialize and make you feel like home. I am so happy that we found this place, so close from the park and wineries. If you want to spend the day at the house, that’s also a great idea, because the backyard is full of trees, birds and places to relax. Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll see cats, wild turkeys or even deer. Ask Jack for recommendations basically about anything! He’ll provide you with fun stories and a huge respect for nature. This really felt like our country, Chile 🇨🇱. We’re coming back sooner than later ☺️

The only complaint I have is that we had to leave. My 94 year old mom gets true peace and relaxation there, and I always want to stay longer. Jack is the best host!

We stayed at Darwin’s beautiful and clean home for my son’s JMU graduation. We had plenty of space for all of us and we were very comfortable. Darwin is very responsive to any issue and the check in is very easy. I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet place to stay.

Veronica is an amazing host and we had a wonderful time staying there. The place is true to the name - A Time to Chill. We felt right at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kids had a fun time playing arcade games and Foosball. Our evenings were spend mostly in the backyard either in the hot tub or having fun around the bonfire. We couldn't try the pizza oven and felt we should have stayed longer. Definitely, a highly recommended place and we will love to be back soon.

Jack was a wonderful host. He was attentive and responsive throughout my stay. He made me breakfast every morning which was a huge perk. I hope to come back someday.

Jacks is the best for a getaway to just relax and enjoy the nature. We drove 45 mins to Old Rag to hike for the day then got to make dinner and relax in the hot tub. Bed was super comfy and will highly recommend Jacks place. Jack is accommodating and helpful and great to chat with or respect your privacy as well.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful surroundings and a lovely view of the Shenandoah mountains from the living room and bedroom. Very clean and Carmen was very responsive and made us feel at home. Cabin is close to town for groceries and some restaurants overlooking the valley.

This was the perfect secluded getaway. The privacy, the nearby river, and the fire pit made it everything we needed to relax and unwind. Being tucked away in the mountains gave it a peaceful, remote feel, yet we were still just a short drive from great wineries and breweries. It was the ideal mix of nature and local charm—our stay was truly remarkable.

We spent 3 nights there and truly enjoyed what the beautiful property can offer. We definitely lucked out with the weather, which is always a plus. While having cups of coffee in the morning, we used our binocular to watch birds and other wild animals like turkey, geese, deer and bunnies. After coming back from wineries, we took a hike in the trails and meadows in the property (we did not have to drive anywhere). We made a fire in the evening and sat in a hot tub while stargazing. We ended up spending so much time at the house/ property, which is rare for us on vacation. We love to go back and enjoy a different season. Mollie's recommendations were awesome. Fabio NY Pizza was great, but I actually loved their chocolate cake more than pizza. Early Mountain Winery was the best if you like dry wine.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and inviting. We loved the interior design and decor, and the hot tub on the deck! The location felt very private and tucked away in the forest, while still convenient to local restaurants like Bearrr Appetit and hikes at Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive! The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was very easy. Highly recommend this little gem!

It was a great place to spend time with my grown children. We had things to do inside and outside. The refrigerator needed a little more cleaning but I did it myself and everything was ok. My son needed a Band-Aid and she had some. Like I said, it was stocked nicely. I highly recommended to my family and my coworkers. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in rural Virginia! The space is spacious, lovely, and incredibly comfortable — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location is peaceful and quiet, with stunning views that made our mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The cabin was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy furnishings. It's clear the hosts put care into making the space feel like a home away from home. The only thing to be aware of is the steep hill leading to the property — it can be a bit tricky, especially in bad weather, so a vehicle with good traction is recommended. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back!

One of the most unforgettable stays we've ever had. The views of the mountains are stunning and the cabin is beautifully decorated with warmth and character. We loved the views from all the porches and decks. It's peaceful, private, and still close to wineries and Shenandoah. Highly recommend!
