Cabin holiday rentals in Greene County

I feel like I walked straight into the pictures in this listing. It was a cozy cabin with a nice hot-tub and grill. We truly enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch while roasting smores over the fire table. We even watched the stars from the deck at night. 4wd/awd vehicle is definitely a must (traction not clearance) we were able to handle the driveway in a BMW sedan. Before we had even booked I asked Lindsey a question and she was extremely quick to respond. She was also prompt and helpful during our stay. 10/10 Hope to stay again. (Also if you hear sounds at night don’t get spooked it’s just deer LOL)

We spent 3 nights there and truly enjoyed what the beautiful property can offer. We definitely lucked out with the weather, which is always a plus. While having cups of coffee in the morning, we used our binocular to watch birds and other wild animals like turkey, geese, deer and bunnies. After coming back from wineries, we took a hike in the trails and meadows in the property (we did not have to drive anywhere). We made a fire in the evening and sat in a hot tub while stargazing. We ended up spending so much time at the house/ property, which is rare for us on vacation. We love to go back and enjoy a different season. Mollie's recommendations were awesome. Fabio NY Pizza was great, but I actually loved their chocolate cake more than pizza. Early Mountain Winery was the best if you like dry wine.

Kelly was an incredibly responsive and wonderful host. Her cabin was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. The cabin is located in private and beautiful surroundings a few miles from the national park. We hiked everyday in Shenandoah National Park and the location of Kelly’s cabin made it easy and peaceful. We enjoyed coming back to the quiet and beauty of this cabin in the mountains. Thank you Kelly for the responsiveness, beautiful cabin, and a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cabin secluded in the woods. The vinyl collection was a nice added touch in addition to the other ammenities. Great host I would stay again!

Awesome place with lots to do on property. Place was super clean and we really enjoyed the hot tub and giant chess! Would definitely stay again!

What a gem! This is our favorite home away from home to date. Shana's place was immaculate, beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. A beautiful log cabin nestled in the trees with all the modern amenities. The beds were super comfortable with top of the line linens which felt super comfy. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and cookware you could imagine and even coffee grounds so we could brew a fresh pot of coffee each morning. We played a few rounds of basketball and Ms Pac-Man in the basement just because we could and it's fun! Bonus is the vineyard a half mile up the street and walkable which was super fun on a beautiful weekend. The home was a 25 minute drive to Charlottesville restaurants which was really convenient. We had an amazing stay and hope to book again in the future. I wish all homes felt as inviting as Shana's.

We stayed at Naked Creek Cabin in May 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home backs up to the Shenandoah National Park and sits near the top of a hill. It was so relaxing to sit on the front porch in the mornings and enjoy a cup of coffee while listening to the birds. Evenings were also enjoyable while sitting on the front porch and enjoying a glass of wine with a few nibbles while listening to the frogs in the background. The house was equipped with everything we needed. A major grocery is about a twenty-minute drive away that has everything you would want. It was also nice to be able to bring our dog along as well. This is a lovely home and was a very relaxing stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mountainside Retreat! The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking — we spent so much time just soaking it all in, especially at sunrise and sunset. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax, and the cozy charm of the cabin made us feel right at home. We captured some amazing photos and made memories we’ll truly cherish forever. Already looking forward to coming back for another unforgettable getaway!

This was the perfect secluded getaway. The privacy, the nearby river, and the fire pit made it everything we needed to relax and unwind. Being tucked away in the mountains gave it a peaceful, remote feel, yet we were still just a short drive from great wineries and breweries. It was the ideal mix of nature and local charm—our stay was truly remarkable.

Exceeded my expectations! The cabin was so peaceful. It’s ideal if you’re wanting the real rustic cabin feel. No lights out at night, just the stars — it was a beautiful view from the porch. The host and team are really friendly and communicative! The cabin has board games, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of fire wood for the furnace or fire pit just outside the cabin. The ranch has some trails nearby too! We really enjoyed the skeet shooting and horse trail ride! A must-do if you’re staying! We’ll definitely be back!

Great place - easy to get to and sprawling house, exactly as advertised. There definitely were a lot of critters, but that was expected, and the communication was great throughout.

Had an amazing stay at this cabin for a long weekend trip for two couples and two doggos! Fantastic place to stay to explore the park! Felt right at home with great kitchen accessories, laundry supplies and shower supplies. The dogs loved the fenced in yard to get their energy out! Beds were super comfy and the shower was amazing! The one bedroom is a loft with stairs to access so you can plan accordingly with your group, it has a privacy wall so no issues there ! Second bedroom was on the main level!

We had a peaceful weekend at the cabin with our kids. Easy drive to Charlottesville, and close to Skyline Drive. We loved the fire pit! Would return.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in rural Virginia! The space is spacious, lovely, and incredibly comfortable — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location is peaceful and quiet, with stunning views that made our mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The cabin was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy furnishings. It's clear the hosts put care into making the space feel like a home away from home. The only thing to be aware of is the steep hill leading to the property — it can be a bit tricky, especially in bad weather, so a vehicle with good traction is recommended. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back!

If you’re looking for a peaceful cabin in the woods look no further. Yes do not take it lightly to have 4 wheel /all wheel drive to get there but when you’re there it’s super relaxing while having all the amenities you look for. Super easy and not far at all from the swift run gap entrance to Shenandoah NP. Great coffee / breakfast spot 15 min away. Will hopefully be back soon!

If you're looking for a place to stay this is it. Close to everything you need and still far enough away! Jessie is quick at responding and her house is clean and super comfy! We will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed staying at Alex’s place so much! The cabin is very stylish, modern and functional. We could see that Alex is thoughtful into details. There were a lot of toys, books and arts for kids. My kids even forgot about time and wanted to play all day long. There is even a river nearby that we could play water with. All amenities were as listed. The cabin got everything we need as a family. We’d love to stay at Alex’s cabin again for staycation or hiking at Shenandoah. Thank you, Alex!

This was truly a gem of a house! We were blown away with how beautiful the view was and with how unique and comfortable the house was. We truly never left the house, spent all day on the massive back porch sitting by the fire pit. We used the pizza oven both nights to cook dinner. Truly a special place secluded away from all the noise. Even though we didn’t use them, there were many hiking trails nearby. We will definitely come back again!

My husband and I have been coming to Brenda’s cabin for years, and each time we return it’s like coming home. When we leave, we are already planning a return trip. Each time we come to this beautiful setting we are searching for something different, and this time it was peace, solitude, and rest. We got that in spades. Often, we will head into town to explore the darling antique shops or get an ice cream or enjoy live music at the micro brewery. This time we didn’t leave the property, yet were delighted with fishing, reading, hiking, cooking, napping and watching all of the wildlife (including an adorable Opossum mama with her baby on her back). As is typical, we are searching our calendars to secure dates for a future visit. Thank you, Brenda, for always providing a spotless and beautiful cabin, well stocked kitchen, and the environment that provides exactly what we need.

Wonderful stay in Stacey’s cabin. The cabin is the perfect size for three persons. It is extremely clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

Kevin’s place is beautiful and peaceful. Pictures in the listing don’t do justice. This is also the more equipped AirB&B I have ever stayed in. It has everything to enjoy the nature and disconnect from the city noise. The location also is perfect to get into Shenandoah, the entrance is just about 10min driving.

We only spent one night at Chuck's place, but what a beautiful and peaceful setting. We enjoyed taking a quick dip in the pool after our hike in the Shenandoah.

Great little place! 20 min drive to entrance to Shenandoah National Park. We used the fire pit every night, but still had a luxurious shower and smart TVs to use :) loved it

Very clean home and convenient drive to Shenandoah National Park. The drive is about 50 minutes to the visitor center and commonly visited hikes. The hot tub was clean as was everything else. Very responsive host! We fully enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us!
