Monthly Rentals in Great Skellig

Lovely modern two bedroom apartment with a large smart tv. Separate utility room was very handy for the airfryer and coffee machine we brought with us. Generous welcome pack of scones, bread and jams on arrival. Kitchen was well equipped for self catering needs. Host was able to provide high chair, cot and black out blind for our toddler.

Bridie was fantastic, met us at check-in and suggested where to go for dinner - she also helped us map our route to the Cliffs of Moher the next day via the ferry. She was so kind and we felt right at home. The cottage is fantastic. I just wish we spent more than one night!

An excellent stay! This was a great home base while visiting the Skelligs - a quiet spot but still an easy walk into Cahersiveen, and a short drive to Portmagee where most of the boats leave from. The space was very clean and just as described. The unit is downstairs from a larger home, but felt fully separate and I didn’t hear a peep from anyone else in the building. Having both laundry and the kitchen was convenient - both worked well and were nicely stocked. John was also quickly responsive to any questions. Overall, no complaints at all and highly recommend a stay here if in the area!

David was one of the most helpful and friendly hosts I have ever met. From the in-person check in, to taking the time to show us around all the features of the bus and providing sightseeing suggestions. He was a genuinely lovely person to have a chat with. The bus itself was incredible, spotlessly clean and everything had been thought of for the perfect stay. From dry robes and beach towels to enjoy some local beaches, to binoculars to take in the amazing cliffs around you in more detail. The kitchen is very well equipped also for everything you could possibly need. The location itself is spectacular, so private but not far from the beautiful Allihies, Castletownbeare and Dursey cable car. I would highly recommend, both my husband and myself can't wait to stay here again!
