Holiday rentals with breakfast in Great Lakes Council

Gail was a wonderful host. We had one of our best Airbnb experiences. The property is quiet and beautiful in the countryside, which is exactly what we looked for. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, and Gail also supplies breakfast ingredients.

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. Our stay was simply PERFECT. Lynn is a super host, and the property was so well equiped. I stayed there for a much needed girls night, and we were all amazed at how well stocked the house was and how beautifully renovated and clean. And to top it all off a gorgeous enclosed back garden for my fur baby. We will definitely be back 🙌

Our family of eight adults enjoyed our weekend in Pokolbin. We enjoyed the view to the mountains from the balcony and the large yard with three rustic chipping greens to practice our golf. The house was spacious and the ducted air-conditioning provided warmth during some cold winter weather. The BBQ are was also excellent. The property is walking distance to a few cellar doors and a nearby restaurant provided a free shuttle service for convenience. Melissa was a wonderful host and made every effort to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

The house was absolutely spotless, very clean and comfortable- a home away from home. Loved the extra touches of bacon/eggs in fridge for breakfast, and washing liquid etc. Also plentiful kitchen utensils/ cooking equipment. The owner also turned heating on for us so house was toasty on arrival. Multiple TVs so family could spread out which was great! Found the house to have the extra touches that many air bnbs don’t provide- we were there for State Rugby, so at the end of a long day was lovely to have such a comfortable house to relax in. Would highly recommend this property.

Brian was an excellent host. The house was perfect for our group stay. So many extras included. Just a short walk to restaurants, shops, pubs and clubs. Thanks Brian we loved our stay and definitely would come back

This house was perfect while working locally and thank you for accommodating me. Had everything I needed and more. Is a great space and I enjoyed being able to work on my computer with that view of the water.

Judy and Murray were impeccable hosts. They accommodated our booking at nearly the last minute for a week and communicated immediately. They asked about our preferences for breakfast and were kind enough to pick up a couple items for us ahead of time. Their home was easy to find and we had no problems parking, getting in, or using the space. The cabin has won awards for its design and is extremely cozy. The air/heating worked well, which was great for warm days and cold nights. We did have a small hitch with the WiFi while we were there, but our hosts did everything they could to rectify this issue; most of the problem was due to network upgrades being done in the area. Judy and Murray were amazing hosts, very gracious, incredibly responsive, and had lots of great suggestions for places to go and things to do. I recommend the walk to Crackneck lookout, which was a relatively easy walk (lots of uphill at the end) and a breathtaking view of the ocean!

It was great to stay here. The view was incredible and it was so easy to travel around the area for this place. Allan was really helpful and made sure our stay was really comfortable.

Mary is a wonderful host, helpful and personable. Mary provides breakfast if required and beautiful chocolates on arrival. Her place was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and there is room to sit and reflect outside. We would love to come back to Mary’s unit. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Robyn and Paul.

We've stayed in Jean's apartment a number of times and have always found it warm and comfortable, with lots of light in the rooms and a very well stocked kitchen including supplied food items (bread, variety of cereals, fruit, eggs, yogurt, milk, teas, etc.). Also, comfortable beds with electric blankets, central heating and book, magazines, TV (with Netflix) and board games. We would highly recommed Jean's place!

Really enjoyed our night stay with Maureen - great location with an easy walk to everything you need. Maureen was fabulous to deal with - welcoming on arrival and really helpful throughout our stay. Loved the details of the accomodation.

The hospitality of this locations was unbeatably unmatched and felt more personal and accommodating than hotels. From the locatiom being incredibly well put together with its impeccable interior design, it becomes clear the place is a passion project more than anything. I couldn't sing my praises high enough for the cleanliness, comfort, convenience, amenities, services and incredible standard of hospitality set by this one visit. My stay was absolutely incredible and would highly highly reccomend it in future.

Absolutely loved our stay in this cosy, clean, and super quiet home in Greta. Perfectly located just 15 minutes from the wineries, it was the ideal base for a busy wedding weekend. The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained – we only wish we had more time to enjoy it! There were horses and a little sausage dog named Wonka who definitely deserve a shoutout. We’ll be back

Bob and Gail's place was perfect for our two night stay in Port Macquarie. We are breakfast outside in their garden area listening to the birds, and in the evening we walked into town to find a good restaurant. The bed is comfortable (and huge!), the place is well thought out and nicely decorated with a big comfy couch and large kitchen. Bob made a point of coming out to say hello when he saw us on the first morning, and it's a friendly chatty nice fella. Bonus - if you like bats, a short walk up Glebe close just five minutes walk down from the Airbnb leads to a path into a forest area (at each junction turn left) where flying foxes roost during the day. There's literally hundreds of them there, and they all wake up and fly off at dusk. Great to watch. We thoroughly recommend Bob and Gail's place.

Beautiful private place. Exactly as described. Hosts were super friendly and even provided some free packets of cereal and oats, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. TV had Netflix available for guests.

We had a fantastic stay at Brad’s place! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Brad was a wonderful host — super responsive, thoughtful, and very accommodating throughout our stay. The location was perfect and everything was just as described. Had a great stay at Willa @ Mangrove mountain . Location was perfect, the place was just perfect for two of us. Most of all the surroundings, and all our furry and feathery friends were great company.. we had a great time feeding Daisy and all the chooks but most of all lil cheeky PJ … such a cute girl and loved her company. Darren and Kim were great hosts , very responsive and the place is just great to unwind, relax and get away from the city and relax around nature.

Highly recommend if you need some time to yourself, the room is stunning, private and has everything you need to relax. All the goodies offered are delicious. Beverly is such a beautiful lady who makes the stay extremely comfortable with her friendly nature.

Beautiful place with so many details to make you feel right at home. Great local breakkie including farm eggs, local bacon, organic granola, biscuits, milk, spreads, coffee tea and a bottle of wine with chocolates. I love when hosts go the extra mile to make your stay special. Beds very comfy, each room had its own private ensuite bathroom. Surroundings are very peaceful. Only con is that the place has no internet reception. Host advised this in advance, but is worth noting. Great stay!

Ian and Sandy were very hospitable and lovely people. The Airbnb was even nicer than the photos. Lots of extras included. Many breakfast cereals to choose from. Milk, jam etc. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful linen. Reclining leather chair was a lovely bonus. A really comfortable and spacious space to relax in. Outdoor area was a nice touch, with a well looked after garden to enjoy. The place was nicely furnished. Walking distance to Bar Beach and Newcastle East beach. Darby Street was close by with so many eateries. A perfect spot to enjoy for 5 days.

Anne's place was cosy and comfortable and impeccably clean and organised. Close to beaches and attractions in a gorgeous part of the world. Anne had great communication and the place had everything I needed. Perfect for my one night stay. Highly recommend ✨

Laurel is a very warm, kind & engaging host. She made my stay very relaxing. The air b n b is beautiful, very clean & it's the little touches that made it very relaxing. It's in a prime location, whether you want to walk to the water, shops or if you want to drive to some amazing sunsets at Gan Gan lookout. I would definitely book Laurel's air b n b again.
