Beautiful spot close to Lake Cowichan. The hot tub and covered deck were fantastic! Spacious kitchen and living area. Would definitely stay here again!

Nicole's place is amazing, great communication and everything is as she described. she was super helpful with anything we needed! The yard is quiet and private. there is a shared pool and hot tub not to mention mini golf was so much fun. I will definitely be staying again if given the chance.

We had a wonderful vacation at Judy’s Seabreeze cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking basics, Saran Wrap and all the utensils you could want for cooking. We had our young children with us, and the pack and plays and sand toys made our lives much easier! The entire cottage was extremely clean and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I would highly recommend Seabreeze cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay here! It was spacious, with beautiful lighting, and cozy touches. It was right on a bike trail leading into town, and just down the road from the local brewery. The hot tub and outdoor shower were nice touches also. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay! Grandkids swam in the pool most every evening, and it was great to have the beach so close! Accommodations were very clean, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils needed for preparing meals and grilling. The grands loved discovering the box of toys too!

We had an amazing long weekend at Cedar Shack. A stones throw away from Chestermans beach for sunset walks. The cabin is located towards the back of the property and is very private. It is equipped with everything you need to feel right at home and to cook your own meals. Extras such as the hot tub/spa, outdoor shower, bbq, and back patio deck made post-beach evenings even more enjoyable. Although we did not assistance during our stay, we felt Barbara was available if needed.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The location is easy to find, close to the city and felt very peaceful. We really appreciated Leslie's and Mark's friendliness and hospitality and I would certainly come here to stay again in the future if I'm visiting the area.

Great location. Walking distance to Chesterman’s beach. House well equipped and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable. Rebecca was helpful with great suggestions for the area.

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Over on the Sunshine Coast for work. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Jonathan's place (twice last year, twice this year). As always everything very clean and all the required amenities. Very peaceful / private location. Will certainly stay again.

George was an attentive and generous host, and we experienced true hospitality here. He went out of his way for us. The cottage has gardens on all sides and hummingbirds on the porch. The area is quiet and the neighbours are friendly. Make sure to visit the Deep Bay Marine Field Station, and Rathtrevor Beach at low tide. The drive to Tofino/Ucluelet area was exceptional and worth a day trip. Thanks George and Marion!

We had a great stay! The cabin was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Julie's place is spectacular. 7 of us came up for a bachelorette weekend and this place did not disappoint! It has everything we needed and more! the back deck was probably our favourite place, gorgeous view of the lake. We got to take advantage of the sleeping nook, and it rained the first night and the sound of the rain on the roof was amazing! I hope to be able to stay there again and discover even more things as we were just too busy to enjoy them all! ! I highly recommend for any occasion! I hope to be able to stay again soon! Terrific place to stay! Nestled in a charming historic neighbourhood of Cumberland, the space is well-designed and feels light and airy. Very comfortable bed and bath, everything we needed plus some thoughtful extra touches. The weather was a little cool during our stay so we appreciated the heating, and could imagine that the bedroom ceiling fan and portable AC would be useful in a heat spell. The host was helpful, and we appreciated the flexibility with our departure time. We hope to return when we're next in Cumberland!

Wife and I had an amazing few days . We explored all over Bamfield and even had oysters at the Bamfield Wreckage. Our last day we caught a couple crab off the dock ! Very quiet , very relaxing

Had a great stay! Everything about the place from cleanliness to the beautiful view was amazing. The bed was comfy and the place is perfect for two people. Tanya was always responsive when we had any questions. We saw sea lions one night too! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy spot with views. Will definitly be back!

It is a peaceful spot to discover all the gems of the Comox Valley. Gail's cottage is a short stroll to the beachfront and the area has numerous recreational opportunities including Cumberland's mountain biking mecca. The kitchen is well-equipped and the beds are comfy. We also found lounging in the yard after a long day on the bikes to be the perfect end to the day.

Loved this place so much! It was very cute and comfortable. I will definitely be recommending this cottage to friends and would love to stay here again. It felt very private and was just perfect! Stay here!!!

Great stay! The cabin has everything you need for a week on Hornby. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck, and taking in the sound of the wind in the Aspen trees and the eagles perched in the fir tree. The property is beautiful and quiet and sits behind a line of trees, right before the beach. If you have anyone in your group with mobility issues, be aware the walk to the beach has a few big steps down, and the stairs to the upstairs room are steep. We would happily stay again.

We spent a week at Sabrina's place. It was clean, comfortable and easily accessible by car. The view from the patio was exhilarating. Even though the kitchen had everything we needed, we only ate occasionally in the "cabin." The restaurants and coffee shops were numerous in Ucluelet and neighbouring Tofino. Most amenities are accessible by foot (20-minute walk to main street); it is necessary to have a car to visit Tofino and the many trails and beaches in Pacific Rim National Park. You also need a park pass. It took us a minute to settle the codes for the keys, locks and bins, but Sabrina responded quickly on the Airbnb messaging system to rectify the codes. Instructions and expectations were clearly stated. The only issue we had was watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The TV is on the small side. Sabrina recommended some local places to watch, but they didn't have great TVs either. We watched some on TV and some on iPads due to connectivity problems. Thanks Sabrina!
