The pod itself is beautifully designed in shiplap wood, the interior offers a cosy bedroom area, a kitchen with smart use of space, a living and dining area with lots of natural light from a panoramic window and a bathroom with shower. Our place is only 4.6km from the Dublin/Westport train line and close to Knock & Shannon airports (31km & 135km). Located only 4.7km from the local town Claremorris, which has boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, & great sports facilities (tennis, equestrian, gym and indoor pool, athletics track, etc). A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

An ideal location to use as a base for the wild Atlantic way with Galway, Westport, Sligo less than an hours drive away. 15 km to Knock airport, 3 km to knock, 2 to Claremorris. The house offers 2 living areas, spacious kitchen\dining room, 3 beds, 2 bath. The house offers a mix of modern and traditional features, with fully equipped kitchen, wood burner, oil central heating, WiFi and modern amenities.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Unique Hot-tub Chalet with Balcony Views

ÈALÚ direct Irish translation for ESCAPE is the name of this unique place. This little oasis is positioned on a south facing hill, overlooking a wide expanse of valley, tucked away from everything but yet a 5min drive from Westport Town. A wood-fired hot tub sits on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley. After bathing in the hot tub make your way up the external staircase to the balcony (which connects to the bedroom), where you can relax in the hammock and take in the amazing views.

There are plenty local amenities scenic walks, hikes, fishing, golfing and an adventure centre in Moycullen. Perfect getaway to discover Connemara.
