Monthly Rentals in Grapetown

The yurt experience was an amazing and unique experience! I stayed for three nights, and it was such a fun way to do Fredricksburg. The animals on the property were also a bonus. The description for the stay is correct in saying that it is camping, but with the A/C and lighting in the yurt, it is easy to forget. The bathroom and kitchen are communal style so be prepared for that. At night, the yurt can be loud depending on weather conditions.

Twilight Ranch may be my family’s favorite airbnb stay to date. We booked last minute and our host, Leah, was incredibly fast to respond which was a constant throughout our stay. The location is a bit further from Fredericksburg but the drive to/from is stunning and you have plenty of privacy to relax on the patio, in a hammock or even in the hot tub. Our favorite part by far was the horse on site. The host made sure we were comfortable with her being out and about first, but she was the star of our stay. The horse was friendly and open to pets, often just walking beside us as we enjoyed time outside. My toddler couldn’t get enough of “my nay”. Twilight Ranch was perfectly set up for our family and I absolutely would stay there again in the future.

The place is beautiful and so cozy! We were greeted by a duck at the entrance and the area was so peaceful. The AC is strong and the bed is comfortable. The hot tub was easy to use and there is a book of instructions on the coffee table for all the amenities. The kitchen was stocked with dished and cooking ware- plus some of the stuff you typically forget (like olive oil). We experienced a huge storm and the power went out but the hosts were on top of it before we even reached out! Overall, it was a great place for our honeymoon and we recommend!

Paul’s place was just right for the getaway we wanted. Spacious enough for staying a few days. We wanted to have a quiet place as our location to explore the hill country.
