Monthly Rentals in Grantsburg

This is our second stay at Little Texas and it certainly won’t be our last! It feels like our home in Shawnee. The house is clean and has everything we need for the week. It’s surrounded by beautiful land. We fished and had a fire. We really enjoyed our time on the property and of course exploring the forest!

I had a hard time checking in (my error, I was at the wrong cabin!) but host was super responsive and quick to help. As someone who is NOT a hunter (I'm pure city and vegetarian to boot), I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and serene the property is, and our lodging was simply perfect for us. Hot showers aplenty (3 of us took our time within an hour) and clean as a whistle. Bison (?) walked by our lodging around 6a, and I sipped hot coffee while watching deer drink and play a short distance away. We hope to come back next time we're in your neck of the woods! Thank you Connie & Jack for a great stay! Their place is so cute and charming, hidden away in the Shawnee Forest. They are great at communicating throughout the stay and also did a great job communicating how to find their house (it’s definitely a little trickier if you’re first arriving when it’s dark!). Just an FYI for families of younger kids (not a negative for us), the room with the 2 smaller beds is on the first floor, and the primary king is on the second floor. We loved the chocolates! We also appreciated how clean and well stocked their place was. Perfect for a long weekend away!

The cabin was beautiful and private. She was excellent at responding to every question we had before we arrived. The beds were so comfortable; we slept so good. The cabin literally has everything to make you comfortable in each area of the cabin! My family and I had an amazing time together for the weekend. We definitely recommend staying at Sarah's.
