Beachfront holiday rental in Grand Manan

This was my second time at this beautiful cottage! so many updates were done since I was there in April. They took all the recommendations from guests and added all the extra touches! Check in and check out was super easy and the host was very responsive. I can't wait to book the 3rd stay here! My mom, sister and I had an absolute wonderful stay!!

Enjoyed this comfortable cabin right on the lake with a great deck for watching the sunrise or practicing yoga. The beach area offered a dock, sand and kayaks/ canoe.

This was our second stay here with Teresa and Bill. We just love these old Maine cabins with so much character and water views. Everything was easy, and the cabin was immaculate. We've already booked our next stay. Thank you Teresa and Bill!

We booked this space for my parents from South Africa and they had a delightful stay at Eastport. The hospitality from our host,Janet, enhanced our experience. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and we could not wish for a more attentative host. The unit was pristine clean and beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Janet- thank you for taking care of us in the way you did.

Sooooo beautiful. Zoltan and Laura are naturally warm-hearted and welcoming. They are a perfect balance of being responsive and proactive, without being intrusive. And YES there are roosters, and YES there are piggies, but that is the joy of a working farm. I was lucky enough to be there during the launch of their micro-brewery's summer beers ( @wearemothermushroom ), and had a delicious IPA and light Stout along with a great plate of fish and frings at The Porch. SO much to see and do; around every bend is another breathtaking beach to sit and, or cycle to, or paddle by. All to come home to smiles, and cock-a-doodle dos. We are going back labour day weekend! So glad to connect and become friends with Laura and Zoltan.

This will be my 3rd summer enjoying this breath taking spot and the island is just a beautiful bonus ! Each year I met new dark harbour residents and I see the old faces I met years before , kind folks who will spot and chat with ya. I left one of my hummingbird feeders because I have never seen so many and I actually had one land on my feeding rings when it was on my finger !!! (1cup sugar to 4cups water and bowl) The steps out back were such a great add on this year :) another year of memories made at this hidden gem on the best part of the island .

Hubby and I stayed at the Starfish cottage once before and loved it so much we came back! The additions to the cottage this time made it even better. The view is amazing, from inside the cottage, outside on the deck or out at the point. Watching for whales, porpoise, seals and eagles never gets old. The inside is spacious and bright with lots of windows and fun and historical decor. The island is quiet in June which is perfect for us. We come for the peace and quiet. The 3 restaurants are open & the ferries are running. Lighthouse is a short drive from cottage. Lots of hiking trails and beaches. Border crossing is quick, easy and friendly in both directions. Campobello island is a magic place and the Starfish cottage is a perfect retreat! Would definitely recommend and we hope to return again!

James was a great host. I had all my questions answered and concerns addressed. I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed his home.

Everything was perfect. The directions were perfect, the house was exactly as advertised (maybe even better), the views took our breath away. It was such a beautiful location. An incredible place if you're looking to rest and restore. Absolutely private yet close to restaurants and attractions. Great place if you like to hike and commune with nature. Of course, you have to tear yourself away from the haven that is your own personal paradise perched high above shore where you can sit on your own covered deck with a fine glass of wine and watch the majestic blue herons swoop by, and the silence is only broken by the call of the gulls - heck, we even got to watch a bald eagle perch at the top of a nearby tree to check us out. Thank you, Andy, for sharing such a special place!

Our family had a great time during our visit at Darcy’s air bnb. We LOVED the private beach. We spent most of our time either walking the beach or relaxing by the little fire pit making s’more’s with the kids. We would recommend this place to anyone and we would definitely stay again.

The location and privacy was very nice. I loved the setup and being so close to the water. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The blankets in the yurt were very warm for when it got cold at night. I would be prepared for ticks if you go in the summer, bug spray and citronella candles were provided which helped a lot with the other bugs. Also our dog loved staying here, a perfect little getaway with your dog!

Lisa’s house was an adventure back in time! She had maps on the wall that were 300 years old! Very impressive!! The captain’s house was beach front and so peaceful! We would sit on the large deck to have our morning coffees and watch the fishing boats! A hidden treasure to all! Lisa was very helpful and quick to reply to my questions! We enjoyed our stay with Lisa on Deer Island!!

Everything was wonderful! The house is comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything I could want for cooking. I appreciated all the extra touches—like nice binoculars and a phone charging pad. The hosts are helpful, kind and welcoming. The view is stunning. There are a few houses on the road but you can’t see them from the cottage, just the magnificent cove. It’s so quiet I heard birds’ wings as they flew overhead. I saw pileated woodpeckers, northern flickers, greater yellowlegs, and many more. A doe came through the yard and an otter swam by. In the guestbook, some guests mentioned seeing seals. But the most awe-inspiring sight is the night sky. With no light pollution, the stars look endless. If you’re lucky, this is a great place to see the aurora borealis. It’s not visible in Maine often, but the deck has a North/Northeast view which is ideal. It didn’t appear while I was there but Jing-Huey sent me a beautiful photo from a few weeks before. Highly recommended!

This place is beyond words! Spent 4 days...booked 7 for next year. What a gem! Beachcombing, on your own private cove, the setting, the view... saw habour porpoise, seal, eagles and of course lots of deer. An incredible getaway to disconnect. Only wanted to stay longer! The place is simply perfect! Even the fog is fascinating and atmospheric. Never slept better! Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated...see you next year Deer Island and Chocolate Cove! Perfect getaway-Campobello is a low key, quiet place-not a lot of eateries, but I know the area and didn’t expect that. Fabulous setting, deck with views, seals, eagles, tides. Read 3 books in 6 days! Fully equipped cottage/kitchen. No wifi but that's fine too. Loads of dvds to watch on a nice big screen…

Patsy’s place is absolutely beautiful! The interior is so cute and so homey. I loved waking up and having my coffee on the dock. Incredibly peaceful and serene. The only thing I may suggest to bookers is try to arrive before the sun sets (at least the first time) because it gets very dark….but that makes for amazing stars! 10/10 loved this place!
