Welcome to 18 Lake. Situated in beautiful, quiet, Port Kent, NY., this is the perfect place to relax and to get away. People come from all across the country to tour the area on bicycles in summer, and from all over the world during the winter for Lake Placid's winter sports. In fall, the colors are incredible. You will find golf about 1/2 mile away, and other attractions such as Ausable Chasm, High Falls Gorge, orchards, boating, hiking, and more close by!

This private site is 2 acres with mature trees, meadows, and wooded buffers, ensuring a peaceful and private stay. There are two cottages available; they can be rented separately or together. Each is one bedroom with private bath.
“Perfect getaway spot to destress and enjoy the beauty of Lake Champlain. My girlfriend and I stayed for three nights to celebrate her birthday and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. From hanging out at the lake, using the kayaks and canoe, to playing with Catherine’s dog Lucy. Catherine welcomed us into her home and made sure we were comfortable and invited to use all her amenities as much as we liked. Catherine’s hospitality really completed the trip with her charming and warm personality. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores one night, and Catherine joined us for a bit of pleasant conversation and gracious company. She even made us homemade tiramisu for a birthday surprise! Can’t wait to come back next summer!”
Camping site on lake Champlain. Site includes a Tiny House for sleeping with a small building with toilet and sink and lake water. We have a futon for sleeping, however we do not supply the bedding. This is a large private lot with full access to Lake Champlain and is also located on the Vermont bike route.
“This place is a great little get away! It is right on the water and has beautiful sunsets! We were greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement on the front porch and a paper listing everything going on in the area. There are also brochures for various activities in the local area as well as playing cards and tic tac toe. There are a couple picnic tables and some chairs to sit on the deck and take in the amazing view. There is a bathroom with a flush toilet and running water set a bit back from the cabin. Top everything off with a rip roaring fire at night and this place is the perfect mixture of roughing it and a home away from home! Cindy and her husband were very welcoming and sweet. They stopped by to check in on us the first and second night and we talked for quite a bit! They are very kind and understanding. For things to do....St. Albans is a cute little town about 15 minutes away - we recommend Mimmo’s if you like Italian. Burlington is about 30 minutes away and has a bunch of great breweries/distilleries/cideries. This place is far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close to the necessities if you need to make a pit stop!”
