Beautiful place, quiet and peaceful location. Appreciated that the master bedroom was downstairs, while the kids were upstairs. Lake is huge, and is super quiet, only saw 1 boat on the water while we were there. Nice fire pit with wood included. Hot tub was a a big hit. Would definitely rent again :)

We stayed at the Bambi Inn on Art Farm and loved everything about it! The space is thoughtfully designed with cheerful custom art and decor. The hosts designed a custom manual/booklet that blows the typical air bnb binder out of the water. The home was well equipped with everything you might need from extra blankets & towels, to kitchen and bathroom needs, first aid supplies, sunscreen, bugspray, and more. It’s impossible not to smile when arriving at the Bambi Inn. The hosts provide bicycles to use for the short ride to beautiful Lamoine Beach. We were able to get to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other neighboring towns with ease. I’d highly recommend booking here!

I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

Fantastic stop on our way up to Acadia. Only wish we had booked for two nights instead of one! the wood stove was super efficient on a very chilly October night. Close to the Pour Farm and Odd Alewives breweries, which were awesome. And very quick drive to Camden for food options and excellent ocean/mountain hikes. Very clean and cozy Maine camp. We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful time! The views and amenities were amazing. We had a blast using the kayaks and the living space was lovely to wind down in after an eventful day exploring the outdoors. It was the perfect spot for our party of 6. We look forward to returning one day!

This was our second time staying here. We love the beautiful and peaceful setting. Lots to do in the surrounding areas but also we love relaxing at the house by just sitting on the dock with a good book or kayaking/fishing in Hobbs Pond.

The view from this cabin is gorgeous and it was so convenient for hiking in Acadia! We were very happy to be able to bring our dog, and her kennel fit nicely right behind the couch. Everything was perfect for us, but a photo of the bathroom in the listing would be helpful for others to decide if the setup would work for them. Overall we were delighted with our stay and would love to go back! It was such a beautiful place to stay and so close to all the hiking!

We had a great stay! Very cozy and clean. We had breakfast at the public house and it was very enjoyable. Felt at home in the group cabin setting.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Judith’s cottage in Deer Isle. Judith, her partner Linda, and Kate (Linda's daughter) were incredibly welcoming—always kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations about the area, from hiking trails and restaurants to local shops and the island’s fascinating history. We truly enjoyed our conversations with them, and they were also very respectful of our privacy. The cottage is rustic but cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the garden and views of the cove were beautiful. It’s also a great location for exploring Deer Isle, the Blue Hill Peninsula, and even Acadia National Park. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would gladly return!

Eddie’s cabins on Toddy Pond are absolutely adorable. Each cabin has its own theme, and they are all equipped with everything you need, and so many thoughtful touches that go above and beyond. Eddie is responsive and helpful and was so helpful and gracious when I had a mishap in my booking. He reached out right away and was able to make everything work smoothly so that I could continue my mini vacation without any interruption. The location is perfect for accessing all that this area has to offer. We enjoyed breakfast in Ellsworth, morning hiking in Acadia, lunch in Bar Harbor, and afternoon adventuring at the Schoodic peninsula and exploring Winter Harbor, before heading back down for dinner in Castine. 15/10 stars! I will definitely be back, and will be recommending Eddie’s places to my friends and family!

Brian’s place was perfect! My fiance and I stayed here with our golden retriever and we all felt right at home. Its exactly as described and looks exactly like the photos. Its the perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking and/or shopping. It was a 15 min drive from bar harbor and about 20-25 min from acadia national park. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The cottage is charming and comfortable, with a lovely, well-thought-out design. The host was thoughtful and very responsive. I really appreciated the rustic style and high-quality touches throughout. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Such a cozy and peaceful getaway spot. All of our needs were met and we all slept amazingly - super comfortable bedding!! It was wonderful to wake up with the sunlight shining down on the trees. One note - the stairs are noisy so if there are people sleeping while you head down to use the restroom you might disturb their slumber!

Can’t say enough amazing things about our stay! The cabin and property are so thoughtfully designed and laid out, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. David & Bill shared local recommendations prior to our trip and all of them were 10/10 - from restaurants to general stores, everywhere we went was a standout. We knew going into it we’d be about an hour from Acadia, so the drive didn’t bother us. We spent our days in Bar Harbor and our evenings near the house, eating at incredible local spots exploring the Sedgwick area. The local snacks upon arrival were really the cherry on top.

Jim's cabin was the ultimate get away stay! The cabin was perfect for our party of four adults and one child. We went straight to the lake to fish and ride in the paddle boat. We built a fire every night in the fireplace while we played board games that Jim has graciously left on the bookshelf. Every morning, we went down to the lake to enjoy the scenery and listen to elks, eagles, and other wildlife. We also looked for animal tracks on the beach and went on a little hike off the beach. Jim communicated before our stay and gave us local food recommendations. He also communicated well during our stay. I highly recommend staying at Jim's cabin. We wish that we could've stayed longer!

Chad responded quickly to a few questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during iur stay! The place is very private and has a great view of the water and surrounding woods. We never noticed the one neighbor on the other side of the trees and it was just a great place to get away from everything! Beds were comfortable and shower was great! Kitchen and A/C were nice and the big TV was nice to have when we settled in for the night. This is a very cool place to escape to and enjoy peace and quiet.

Maple Cove Camp was a magical space to rest and relax. Perfect size and full of charm and joy! View from the window to the lake was amazing to watch the sun come up. The lake is so peaceful. Great moments in nature with wild turkey & beaver sighting. They were fantastic hosts answer all my questions & making me feel right at home! Will come back again next year for sure!

The cabin was great!! Very homey and spotless!!! We cooked breakfast just about every morning!! Perfect simple dishes and utensils to use!!! Place is very centrally located along the coast. Nice lil Shops and restaurants around!! Another plus was the cable tv!!

Ben and Gary's writers cabin was one of the most beautiful locations I have ever been. The cabin is even more beautiful than the listing pictures and is so incredibly close to the water. We had the best time in Maine thanks to Ben and Gary. Not only was the property amazing but so were Ben and Gary. Very kind individuals. Thank you!! Would love to visit again.
