Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. In addition, the cottage has all modern conveniences.

Right on the Carlow/Wicklow border and just over an hour from Dublin with fantastic views of the Wicklow hills. Bright and airy kitchen/living/dining room. Large bedroom with super king size bed and the main bathroom are downstairs. One double bedroom and a twin bedroom and second WC (toilet and sink) upstairs. Our own home is right next door. Full use of large front and back lawn. A mile from Hacketstown which has supermarket, chemist, pubs, a cafe and petrol station. Very family friendly.

Lovely old farmhouse with wood burning stoves and an aga, perfectly located for touring the south east or heading to the ferry.The main Waterford / Wexford road is just 5 minutes away (20 minutes to Wexford town) and the Enniscorthy bypass can be reached in ten minutes. The house is ideally situated for a quick stop heading to or from the ferry in Rosslare, as it is approx 30 minutes away , or stay a bit longer and see all that Wexford has to offer.
