**A Perfect Rural Getaway – Felt Like Home!** I can’t say enough good things about my stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The setting is peaceful and beautifully rural—exactly what we were looking for to relax and unwind. The home itself was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this experience apart was the incredible hospitality of our host. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and even helped me fix my car when I ran into some trouble. Their kindness and generosity made all the difference, and I’m so grateful for their help. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with a welcoming host who genuinely cares about your stay, this is the place! I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Our stay at the treehouse was amazing! The host, Carla, provided lots of information and was very responsive. The property itself is something special and every detail has been well planned. You feel like you are in a magical forest by the lake. Our stay was comfortable, relaxing, private, and just what we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer! This is our second stay with Alan and, once again, it was relaxed and lovely. Alan’s place was clean, organized, and centrally located to everything in Northport and Tuscaloosa. We had a great stay and will be back. Alan’s place makes it so easy to travel with our two young kids and has become a home away from home.

We can’t say Thank You enough to Mark for letting us call his place home for two weeks and going above and beyond for us during our stay. There really isn't many places and people left out there like this farm and Mark! We will miss all the animals immensely!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joanna’s place in Scooba. We rented the bigger house and the cottage too. It’s such a peaceful country setting with plenty of outdoor activities. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake and walking around the property. Our grandchildren loved the tree swing in the front yard! The homes were inviting, comfortable and had plenty of room for all of us to congregate and to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals together. Joanna’s place is a country gem!

Perfect home base for University of Alabama visits! This house exceeded all our expectations during our recent trip to visit our son at UA. The location was ideal - just a short drive to campus while offering a peaceful retreat from the university bustle. The space was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and had every amenity we could need. Our host was incredibly responsive.

Victoria was a wonderful host! She was incredibly responsive through the app and answered all my questions. We escaped to camp velvet for a long weekend on a babymoon getaway before our first child arrives this summer. The home was gorgeous and the scenery was incredible! We brought our 3 year old Weimaraner and he had the time of his life running through the woods and exploring the trails with us. We already can’t wait to come back!

Becky was amazing to work with. Our daughter was graduating from UA and she left us balloons, cupcakes and a very nice note. There was a basket full of snacks, too. A storm rolled through during our stay and they checked in and made sure we were good and asked if there was any damage they needed to clean up. Due to rain we were unable to use their amazing fire pit but they had fire wood ready. They also have a ton things in case you forgot something. toothbrushes, toothpaste and a bunch of other things. If we are in the area we would stay again.

This house was beautiful inside and out. Love the fact the laundry was upstairs. Mykyla even had packages of toothbrushes and toothpaste which was extremely helpful seem out of 4 of us i was the only one who brought mine. Mykyla had detailed instructions for check in and check out which was extremely helpful. She also provided disney and hulu for us to watch. Everytime i sent a message to her she was very quick to respond. Also she is very sweet and kind. Neighborhood is very quiet and nice. Talked to a few neighbors in passing everyone was very respectful. I definitely would stay here again. I know the rating only goes up to 5 but id definitely say this is more of a 10. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you again Mykyla for sharing your beautiful home with us.
