Reconnect with nature at this unforgettably bucolic escape at the headwaters of Spring Creek in Minnesota's Driftless area. This is a both a working, diversified farm and a wooded country oasis. Acres of woods teeming with wildlife, bucolic pastures with placidly grazing cattle and clucking chickens running after grasshoppers, a beaver pond, multiple creeks and springs - all within an easy hour's drive from the Twin Cities. Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.
