What a beautiful and relaxing place to go. A true hikers treehouse to escape to and unwind.

Absolutely loved our stay here. I'll say our Kia K5 didnt make it up the driveway but it was a nice walk up, use caution if your feeble. The house is so beautifully decorated when you walk threw the door, the live plants made it feel like home as soon as they were spotted. The kitchen was so cute and had everything we needed to cook, the living room was so cozy with the cutest plaid touches to make it pop. The video projector was amazing, we were trying to unplug but took advantage of movies on the couch. The clawfoot tub was one of my favorite things, after hiking it was nice to relax alone. The hot tub outside was so nice, imagine being surrounded by dark folliage for privacy while relaxing, it was also directly beside the sauna. Both surrounded by dense trees for privacy. It was amazing! Hailey was absolutely amazing, before arriving she reached out to let us know if we needed anything she was a few minutes away. During our stay she reached out to make sure things were still great.

Loved our stay! Traffic and road closures made us arrive after dark, so it was a little tricky finding the place—but the remoteness is part of its charm! The house was gorgeous and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Any extra supplies we were able to purchase at the grocery store in town. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone! Thank you, Debbie, for being such a wonderful host!

John's unit was a very nice place to stay. Everything we needed was available and easily accessed. Location was perfect for all the amenities /restaurants/hiking/shopping. We would highly recommend this place to stay for your visit to the western Carolina mountains. John was responsive and available when needed. Come to Sapphire Valley for a great vacation.

My husband & I very much enjoyed our stay at this Highlands mountain home. It was clean, comfortable, and watching the long-range mountain view sunset was the perfect way to end a day of hiking and exploration. The kitchen was well stocked, internet fast and dependable, and the living room a nice place to enjoy a movie or watch the clouds move across the mountains. The location was convenient to the entire Franklin, Highlands, Cashiers area which in the spring is a playground of wildflowers and waterfalls. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants to visit and the locals were all friendly. Thank you, Rudy & Adrienne, for sharing your lovely mountain home with us. We hope to return in the not-too-distant future!

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

CONVENIENT FOR OUR VISIT WITH NEARBY IN LAWS. VERY NATURAL, PRIVATE AND SERENE. COMFORTABLE, CLEAN ,WELL FURNISHED. WE'D DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN IF IN THE AREA. ONE CAVEAT, MOST RESTAURANTS ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS AND BRING YOUR OWN PROVISIONS.

I already miss The High House! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special. The porch quickly became my favorite spot—I could have spent all day soaking in those breathtaking views. We were lucky enough to visit during firefly season, and watching the fireflies put on their magical show was truly unforgettable. Our evenings around the campfire, making s’mores, were such a treat. My 9-year-old boys loved exploring the property, making new friends with the host’s sweet and welcoming children, and discovering tortoises, baby kittens, and playful sheep along the way. The beds were super comfortable, and the location was perfect for all our adventures—whitewater rafting, zip lining, gem mining, and chasing waterfalls. One of the highlights was ordering baked goods and a dinner from our wonderful host, Sharon. It was hands down the best meal we had during our trip! Our stay was pure magic, and I can’t recommend The High House enough! Thanks for the memories!

We got in late and left early, so we didn't really get to enjoy the gorgeous setting, but the place was perfectly lovely for our quick overnight. I would absolutely recommend.

Kathy is an amazing host, and the accommodations are exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested to extend another night! Very welcoming peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous stone FP and kitchen backsplash. Decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were excellent. We had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed with treats and a dog toy. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to be close to Brevard and the surrounding areas. We will stay again when in the neighborhood. Our family is always grateful to stay at Mary Ann's beautiful property! We've stayed here multiple times now and hope to continue to do so whenever our travels take us through the Asheville area. This property is truly a gem - peaceful, beautiful mountain view, a tree swing, lots of greenspace for the kiddos to run around outside after long car rides, comfortable big beds, a lovely bathroom, cozy living room and lots of much appreciated extras in the kitchen like KCups and creamers, pop tarts, waffles, water and juice. And if you ever need anything, Mary Ann is super responsive. It truly feels like a respite for us along long family trips, like getting to stop at a home away from home. We love this special place! I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

Amazing stay in Barbara’s garage apartment. Our daughter loved feeding the pigs and we loved being surrounded by the woods. Excellent communication and ease of stay. Would stay here again and again

I loved everything about my stay at Hi-Horse! I was traveling solo for this trip for work and needed the peace and serenity of Hi-Horse. The views were magical and the hot tub was so relaxing! Tanya went the extra mile to make my stay extra special. There was a sweet note and chilled bottle of wine upon my arrival. She also created a wonderful digital guest manual that was so helpful as a guide for outings and where to eat. I would highly recommend Hi-Horse to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway and I will be back!

My wife and I honeymooned here . The place was beautiful, spacious and clean . With a view that was TO DIE FOR. The last night we met Jose , we talked with him for a bit . Very very nice guy ! Between the views , the place in general and Jose’s hospitality we will definitely be back if ever in Maggie vally!! 100000 out of 10 all around amazing !!!

Great stay great host beautiful location.

We highly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the covered screened in porch, as it rained for much of our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Damien is helpful and friendly and responded quickly. Overall this is one of the nicer Air Bnb's we have stayed in. We will definitely be back and stay at one of his properties in the future.

Wendy waited for us for check in at night and was always available when we needed something. The place was better than the pictures. Beautifull views and really clean. golf cart was fun and games room in clubhouse kept us entertained in rainy days. beautiful community and people

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

This place exceeded all the high expectations we had going in. The view cannot be done justice with the photos. We have stayed in a bunch of places in the NC mountains and this was by far the most beautiful view we have ever seen. We also didn’t realize just how great it would be to have access to the lake club facilities just by staying in the reserve. Aurelia was super responsive, friendly and helpful. If it’s available, we hope we can stay again next year!

Location was great with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Waves of nostalgia in every nook and cranny of this house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed admiring the pictures, decorations, books and furniture! Preparing meals in the kitchen was an absolute treat. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped kitchen. The serving platters, cooking utensils, cookware and glassware were enjoyed by all! The home was clean and so peaceful. The fireplace was just icing on the cake! Everyone enjoyed our family trip and we hope to return!
